It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

We've grown mighty quick so I'm expecting a correction. But I'm holding this for the long term, and we're far away from my break even point. I sold on the way down when Bitcoin crashed. I'm not making that mistake again. MEC has shown more buy support today than I ever expected.

Can we ask kimoto if he is planning some website update (eg upload the mac client / ghange the pictures of the wallet to the more modern ones in the guide to megacoin), ask what's his plans for Zerocoin, etc?

That is what is great about the current depth, one seller can perform the correction Personally, I am all up for a brief trip back to 0.00004 where I'll have an army of BTC waiting.

Ya I saw that too - correction denied lol... Even with that trade, buy depth is still a little lacking. Get some koolaid and popcorn, this show is probably going to last a while

We haven't seen anything yet. When we pass up FTC I will be impressed, but I won't be selling. I believe Megacoin has a much bigger destiny.

I wouldn't be holding FTC- looks like its about to fall out of bed. I don't have any, never did, but looking at the charts, I would guess you would be better off trading your FTC for MEC or even some ANC, for the possibility of their DEV implementing ZEROCOIN first or in parallel with MEC. -digeros.

Anyone selling now will be kicking themselves later.. With that said I think we will see this spike adjust back down to around 0.00008-ish soon, then continue up steadily.

Kimoto's Gravity Well is working perfectly. The absolute fairness of the difficulty, and Megacoin's quality will continue to drive steady growth. People are figuring out they either need to get on-board, or get left behind. In the very near future we will look back on .01 cent MEC as an unbelievable bargain.

I have to admit I was an early FTC adopter, but immediately sold them when they started talking about UNOCS. I was never a fan of WDC or PXC, and knew it would have disastrous consequences. FTC and LTC are good coins, MEC is exponentially more impressive.

We haven't seen anything yet. When we pass up FTC I will be impressed, but I won't be selling. I believe Megacoin has a much bigger destiny. And we broke 0.0001. That was quick. Up to $0.013 now and a total of 40.72% increase in the past 24 hours.
The upcoming store + the zerocoin implementation + the best site in ALL cryptocurrencies ever + the chinese site (good work kimoto!) + the nice looking wallet, will make MEC the big winner. I'm glad I got some now Of course it's going well.. It's still cheap. I forgot to mention the diff adjustment that makes this coin superior.

Don't forget this! Congratulations everyone on being members of the 42,000 club! Everything has been growing steadily as planned. Decentralization of services, enhanced anonymity and instant transactions are all destinations planned on this fantastic voyage. Happy Mega-day to all, and to all a Mega-night.

and this The next release was focused on decentralizing by integrating p2p pools/mining directly into the client.

considering market caps, MEC should really be around $1.50 each. Perhaps more. Anyone who would be selling now will be crying later. Its like when I could have bought BTC at .05 each. Not much sell pressure yet. Everyone knows this coin is golden.

although this got pushed back ^^ thanks for pointing these things out. It's time for people to know MEC! All miners should see the benefit of the kimoto's gravity well. I am very happy since I saw that I can mine an efficient supply of coins with my rigs. Something that cannot happen with the insanely diff of other coins
