How to motivate a person to work?

One of the ways to motivate someone to work is to inspire them with your words, give them motivational words for them to do their best. You can also give them rewards, surely they will be motivated to do their works.

Explaining work is a process that takes showing long term reward, opportunities with time put into them or leading from effects of the successful.

After someone sees what work gives, it isn't as complicated. Unless in a serious talk about everything, nothing surprises people more than detailing worth.

I think the best way is to inform him/her which he or her earn from work. Its all about personal result. Not just money but knowledge, or relationships or whatever they want to achieve in their life or help them to achieve something. you have to show people their benefit from that work if you want them to put maximum effort on that

One way of motivating a person to work is giving them credits on their job. Accomplishing their job must be appreciated that makes them work more hard. And salary increase when reaching or passing your quota.

Sellers who are paid based upon commission might work harder than someone on salary since that person might feel that they're guaranteed the pay?

We motivate other's to go for work, because they need to work for their lives. Don't depend on everyone, don't wait for help always. Just workout.

Also, a reasonable timeframe (no more than 40 hrs /week). sounds pretty simple, right?

Motivation to work us depends on the person.If the person is willing to work you don't have to motivate them they are the one who  push theirself to do the job or find a job. If the person do not want work, it's not your fault,spoiling them is not an answer.Your just making them to become lazy.Learn them how to be successful in life

Money, but there are some exception to that like if someone you care is facing serious problems I think even if you show him what you earn it will not inspire him, for those instance you should be at his/her side until he/she get backed to his/her self.

We can motivate other person to work by making them an open minded individual. They must learn how to accept failure first because that is the weakness of every individual. Once they experience failure or problem their mind set is to quit and stop. They must treat failure as a challenge in life who mold them to become more productive, strong and great individuals. They must enjoy and love  what they are doing. It's not the salary sometimes, its our advocacy, dedication and vocation to work.

motivation is where one is being reward inwardly or outwardly to serve as a drive to act  achieve something. at the work places, there are so many ways to motive a person to work. you can praise them for their hard work. one can be given award like certificate, money and other external motivators to encourage the person to work hard. these are some means one can be motivated to work hard.
