One of the best tool to motivate people in their work is high salary grade. Free meal is also a good motivator. Appraise them if they have done good things. Giving certificate of appreciation and token if a person done great things in the company can also help.

Here how I motivate my employee
1. Analytical types want to know that a project is valuable, and that their work makes a difference to its success. They need a leader who excels in a particular area, and whose expertise they believe benefits the group.
2. Share in the sacrifice. Leaders don’t ask people to do what they themselves aren’t willing to do. Don’t tell your people to work over the weekend if you’ve got plans for a spa day. Roll up your sleeves and share the load.
3. Appeal to their emotions. Fear focuses people’s attention and can be an effective motivator. “If we don’t get this done right now, we’ll all lose our jobs.”
4. Give people multiple reasons for doing what you want them to do. You can give your own reason or the organization’s reason for requesting the action. “If we don’t get this project completed on schedule, we’ll lose the contract.” But the best reason of all is always personal.
As a leader, anytime you talk about values, about identity either the corporate identity or each person’s identity, and about long-term goals, your intent whether you know it or not is to inspire.

High level of salary is good of course, but for many people it is not enough. They have to believe in the project that they do. It is important give them comfortable conditions and make them believe in your company.

At the work place incentives in the form material or non material substance can given to motivate people to work. But sometime, it is best if the person is placed at the position or area where he or she works best. Everyone has a particular area work the he or she enjoys and is willing to work extra hours for. If one can identify the best areas that an employee or subordinate is good at, there will not be any for extra cost to motivate. Because people do well on things they are good at and also loves.

What do you think?Motivate is really motives our mind.Another thing, when you’re inspiring people, you’re not telling them exactly what to do or giving them precise directions. You’re empowering them to be their best, trusting that they will then do the right thing. And the right thing they do may not be what you were expecting; it may be something beyond your wildest expectations.

To motivate a person, I think you need to appeal to their emotions. Fear focuses people’s attention and can be an effective motivator. (“If we don’t get this done right now, we’ll all lose our jobs.”) But if you keep resorting to fear, you’ll end up de-motivating people. People are also motivated by-and prefer to be motivated by-positive emotions like excitement, pride, a sense of belonging, and the thrill of achievement.
If you set a good example, you'll become a leader and people will like to follow. It's the same as rising a child I guess

the first thing you should do is you should be able to energize and give your performance real practice. you have to set a good example for others, and others will see you .. giving good example it does not have to be big, but from little thing better

Increase their salary. The higher they got paid the better work they will do. Give them rewards or tokens for their achievements. Commend them and let them feel that they are really important. We can also laugh together because this bond us and have a stronger working relationship to them.

Incentives motivates employees better. In addition to this, make them understand that they are doing well on the job but they can do better. Always commend them for Job well done and then you'll see them bringing out their best.

let me advise to motivate you, if you are getting bored with your job then remember your effort to get the job, if you are lazy to work then remember for whom you work, for your wife or your child or for the person you love

Motivation in the terms of work is if your boss and coworker appreciate your hard work and can see your effort thats one reason how we motivate to work more hard.and also good salary can motivate us too.

If you can help someone realise their passion, this is what will motivate them. This may take time or money, but once the discovery is made, neither time nor money will matter they will pursue that work or activity for as long as they retain pleasure from it.

motivating friends to work is very important especially if we work as a team work pursued by the target. perhaps by giving direction or if our target is achieved will get a lot of bonus from superiors. in addition to bonuses. we must also emphasize to colleagues how will the purpose of his work, whether for the future ?!

Giving motivation to others to work hard is difficult.
There are several factors that affect a person to work. The most influential is the emergence of needs that must be financially satisfied.
I think to cultivate motivation for someone to work hard one of them by giving it an example. For example the story of successful people, it will at least open their minds. But it should be balanced with family support. So they are strong fighting in times of difficult conditions.

A lot of times I see highly motivated people working for ideal bosses. They create the environment the person wants to be in and can thrive and succeed.

We all need motivation in our life so that we have a strong positive outlook in life. We need to say to people that they're gonna work hard so that they have money to buy what they want. Also yes we need to inspire people to work harder so that they will also work hard and can get benefits in their work.

To motivate a person to work takes on both personal and professional way...to inspires him seeing the good in him and acknowledge is contribution to the development of the company, that he is one of the important person in your office..to compliment his work takes incentives, recognition, and good working relationship.
