How to stop ICO ?

The only way to stop ICO is when the government is banning or regulations otherwise ICOs are highly tolerable this year.

Anyone can make their own coin and scam the hell out of gullible investors. I don't really know what is the other way to stop the numerous popping nonsense coins, I guess we should really be more crucial in choosing coins we'll invest in.

What a contradiction of thought and opinion. Someone is wearing an ICO signature and the same time asking for how to stop ICO. If your ICO represent value and it is useful you will make moneyand if your ICO `is` junk,you bet that all your effort is going to trash!

There are many ICOs nowadays, we can't say that all of them are scam, but some are legit. Since I started investing in ICO, I always have fear what will happen next, because too many risk in investing in ICO, but if you are lucky, you may earn 100% profits.

This can't be stopped. Still, many ico's project creates every month maybe.
Every project has road map and goal to achieved in launching. With promotion and campaign there are starting to collect interest and member for support the projects. How it could be many project was failure after launched. There are could be some reason, as far i understand it will failure when there can't survive in the market competition and stock hold with low cap market. In the end it can states as speculations.

Yes, it is a fact, ICO's popping up every day, each one with their own unique concept and idea, but are they in fact real, is the concept achievable or is it a dream that will never happen?  Ofcourse, its become a way to make some money. People can get scammed or even be victims of fraud. Apparently, 90% of the ICO's today are scams and a means to make extra cash on the side.

Imo, a great example of a good ICO is trade.io, the new blockchain trading platform. It's currently doing very well, and it's sure to do much better due to it's very solid team and advisory team. The team is working 24hr p/day to help the community.

ICO can not be stop. You must accept the fact that as different as our faces are so also is our need. Many people will like to see better way of doing thingsin their respective endavour, and if  means tokenizing such endavour on better technology, so be it!

Agree there's too much low ICOs, but I think it'll be better eventually. Also at this point it's not difficult to identify a scam just by read about it only.

Just as investing in the real sector requires the owner of the means of financial knowledge and entrepreneurial intuition, and in the ICO all this must be had. And then bad ICO, as in reality, will not be able to attract investment and leave the market.

There is no way to stop ICO, they are beneficial because they provide jobs for new blockchain workers. This is needed for us to see a better coin output in the world. It will also help the adoption of bitcoin.

ICO can be regulated but cannot be stopped. A country can require regulations for all ICOs and investors like how it is in USA. But it cannot be stopped, companies and start-ups will find ICO as a better source of initial funds in contrast to traditional source of funds. The problem is the number of scam ICOs out there. It should be regulated so that investors may somehow have a bit of protection against scammers.

Its a free market my friend. Though there are so many ICOs they can't force themselves, participation is voluntary and even the consumption of information.
The numbers have decreased this month though, must be the SEC and China ban taking effect but overall ICO is a brilliant way of raising money much like crowd-sourcing .. No denying that I'd like it better if there were accountability and some degree of regulation but fr now we have peer reviews and stay away from shitcoins..

It is inevitable, while there are a number of icos that are a scam there are other projects that have good intentions and simply fail, that is jut the nature of the market and since there are no rules about which person can create an ico so I think this is a problem without a clear solution.

Why do you wanna stop icos, guys? Market is working great. Bad icos are failing, good icos are making money and creating great projects. I personally don't think this will ever completely stop. Lot many people will use this as opportunity.

This will never happen. The only way ICOs would stop is when the crypto market and bitcoin collapses completely which will never happen according to me. The truth is that the number of ICOs will actually increase dramatically in the long run since people realize that bitcoin and the crypto world is a gold mine and everyone would want a piece of that cake. Majority of the ICOs will still be scams, but many ICOs are legit. Differentiating between them comes down to research and luck.

They are not wasting their time and their money since they do really need to put up money on marketing and designing the project to look it legit and when they do raise funds then they can accumulate amounts more than on the amounts that they do spent. Easy profits right? This is common and really rampant on these days which these ICO turns out that most of them are fraud and being used just to scam people in the end. Most of them failed because of no support from the community or just being created to scam people.
