Not sure if it can be said "short break" when it keeps happening every 10 seconds or so for the past few hours  Undecided

Wonder no more, because a 5% premine was transparently announced since before the launch and information about it is also available in the 1st post of this thread.

We need it for development and growth of the product and the company.
Please note, this never had an ICO and we don't take any dev fee from the blocks. In addition, a 10% burn is coming in February.

Thanks for your kind words about the team Kryptowerk, I can say the same about BTX team.
Also say hello to metamorphin for me, it's been a while since I've visited your Slack.

Check the Roadmap to stay updated on our progress.
Thanks!

I believe you forked the SGMiner? Why is RX580- hash so low and why it crashes every-time I try to run.. Believe needs more tweaking for Phi1612 for better HASHRATES? Share if you have any plan for releasing a more optimized miner for AMD cards - please please please and keep up the good work. Smiley

Thanks for your very kindly, detailed explanations about those 5% premined and the way on which the project will follow. Please keep it on track.

I haven't done this myself I'm just repeating what was said earlier in the thread.

First you have to encrypt your wallet if it isn't already.
Then you need to unlock the wallet (leaving the "For staking only" checkbox checked)
The wallet must be running and the computer must be connected to the internet.
There is an initial 36 hour wait after the Lux coins are deposited in your account for staking to start.

One of the icons in the lower right will tell you about the staking status. Hover over the icons.

In a few days the team says they will release a new wallet to fix the performance issues of the current one.

Hope I didn't miss anything. Smiley

Ok, so I looked into the team, if you guys actually have the experience and knowledge you state you have, there might indeed be chance you can achive all your ambitious goals.

However, looking at CMC I still feel a bit frightened when I see these numbers:

Circulating Supply
912.238 LUX
Total Supply
3.912.238 LUX
Max Supply
60.000.000 LUX

Since the total market cap is calculated by the circulating supply number only, it would still increases by factor 65 if the max supply is finally in circulation, making the actual market cap $2104 Million USD, bringing LUX to #21 on CMC!

1. Can someone explain to me or direct me to a source to find out where the 3000000 missing coins from circ. <-> total supply are currently stored and what their purpose is?
2. And what are the estimations on when the max supply is reached?
3. What is the yearly inflation rate of LUX?

Thanks!
As @Anorganix mentioned 5% Lux were premined and stocked in team addresses. 10% of premine planned to burn https://luxcore.io/roadmap. More details of premine purposes and upcoming burning can be found here https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/364671360515047427/396716699468169217/Announcement.pdf
Max supply will be reached at about 10 years (15120 lux per day produced)

Hi,

Thanks for advice, but this is server without GUI, only console via ssh, so -QT version won't work for me...

Think better to wait couple of days so till new wallet and source goes live.

the rewards on LUX are quite high, around 80% apr from the metrics ive seen so that sounds about accurate.

I can't believe it, over $19k monthly for each LUXcoin masternode. Is it real?
https://masternodes.online/currencies/LUX/
Lets count: 720 lux per day having from POS, 40% mean 288 lux goes to all MNs. With currently running 13 MNs we have 22.1 lux per day goes to each one => 22.1 x 30 = 663 lux per month. With current price we have 1.96 btc or $20.6k. So monthly income that showing mn.online quite correct.

Great!

Yes, its known freezing bug that will be resolved in upcoming wallet. Im meanwhile you can try to use minimal version https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/tag/v3.0.4, it can reduce lagging.
And I wouldn't recommend to move files from default wallet directory %appdata%/lux.

Great!

Please help!
lux-qt freezing permanently
it works very slowly

first time It was ok, but freezes growing up day by day

ssd system drive, core !5 CPU, windows 7
all works fine but lux-qt

AND ONCE MORE
how to change default wallet and blockchain location?

for example, ETH Wallet start config "Ethereum Wallet.exe" —node-datadir="d:\chaindata" —node-keystore="X:\Secret Folder with Keys"
are there any similar settings for the lux-qt?

Yes, its known freezing bug that will be resolved in upcoming wallet. Im meanwhile you can try to use minimal version https://github.com/216k155/lux/releases/tag/v3.0.4, it can reduce lagging.
And I wouldn't recommend to move files from default wallet directory %appdata%/lux.
Your calculation and the estimates from the masternodes.online website are almost the same. In fact, LUXcoin is an actually good project.

It is not listed on coinmarketcap yet but we can now trade LUX for USDT! Smiley
https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=LUX_USDT

Very low volume as it is new and probably few know about it, but exciting to see it being traded vs the dollar standard in crypto Smiley

Thank you both for your answers. That's quite the inflation rate. What will be the incentive to secure the network after all coins are distributed (in ~ten years)? Fees only?
Will keep an eye on this, but for now I remain sceptical (that's just my nature in crypto world, sorry ; ).

I read about parallel masternodes both in the announcement you linked and a blog post - what exactly does the parallel stand for?
Also, what's your status on "rethinking the reward structure between staking and masternodes"?

Please keep in mind that answers of most questions that you pointed will be in Technical Whitepaper release of which planned till 28 Feb https://luxcore.io/roadmap.
Anyway if you have urgent questions that you need get information to feel free to ask devs directly in Lux discord https://discord.gg/X43CA3f

Yes, we aware of, and even sent a tickets to Yobit support about delisting that abandoned coin to avoid people mix up Luxcoin with Bitlux, but never was replied.
