Like BTC Doge is down to less than half of it's peak value.  But also like BTC, doge is worth more today than when doge dice started.
It depends on which value.
IMAO the only exchange rate that matters for alternate cryptocurrencies, is the exchange with BTC.

I think people are more likely to gamble when the price is going up.  Wealth effect.  More money means more disposable income.

Lottery ticket purchase per capita is inversely correlated with income (and considered by some to be a regressive tax).

The wealth effect is valid as well.

I assume there is a selection bias for now regarding BTC...... Poor people don't have BTC.  (Hypothesis)

Anyone that thinks doge dice hurts just dice is absolutely retarded. Just invest in doge dice then instead of being stubborn.

"Investing" in doge-dice is like picking pennies up in front of a steamroller, IMO. Holding doge looks seriously risky at the moment.

I read this and visualized it. Then I laughed. +1 to you, sir.

Now then, if you don't like steamrollers, I'll gladly hold all of your Dogecoins!

I can believe 21 losses in a row but not 22.  Did you consider doubling your bet again?

Just-Dice game What is the longest series martingale ??

I'm not sure, but at least 27:

Note that with over a billion bets so far we would expect the longest losing streak to be about 30 bets long.  2^30 ~= 1 billion.

dooglus, so far, you've set up just-dice for bitcoin, and dogedice for doge. You probably won't ever set up one for any other alt-coin, despite my "pleas", so ... any chance you'd "sell" the back end?

I want to make one for another coin, and of course while you may be credited for the back end, I'll be responsible for it's operation, wallet, etc.

Some of these coins might actually be less valuable than testnet bitcoins, but ehhhh.... they're still "real", and somehow I got some so I can fund my own bankroll for them. (It obviously will not make sense for me to run it on bitcoins or dogecoins.)

And oooh, my two digit ID still for sale, could you look into that please? (I think I have a ticket on your support site.)

You aren't the only one there hun.  I would love to have dooglus run one for dark-dice, the guy that owns that website apparently even offered it to doog for free.  But I would still love his flawless software and run the site myself and pay him.  Is there a price?

I was kind of wondering this as well. I was thinking someone could even extend it so that one site can host many different coins. And then it would be possible to swap out coins as needed to keep up with the changing markets.

The wallets are empty and the site is down. Hmmmm....

The hot wallet contains everyone's deposit address, so it's hard to see the whole balance.

The cold wallet address changed about a week ago. I updated the FAQ with the new address and a new signature.

Was the site really down for a while? I wasn't offline for long so I guess I missed it. Or maybe it was a localised cloudflare outage.
