Sounds like alot of people are mad because the producer thought about and produced a viable product before others. I for one love this because it is the free market at its finest. He made something that has an obvious demand and will sell out of the first batch guaranteed. It's called supply and demand realistically he could sell these @ 100ltc a pop if he wanted cause who else are you going to buy them from?  You guys are hilarious how are you gonna argue with the producer about something you have nothing to do with? That is the problem with all the exchanges and here everybody lets the buyers dictate the sells. I think what we have here is a great product from somebody obviously respected in our community and no doubt that he will sell, just don't test him too much or he can easily revise that post to 100ltc a pop and still sell out...rant over

 Smoothie is not the first to do this, a previous announcement for Physical LTC was made in April, just hasnt produced yet.

As far as I am aware i'm the first to actually produce physical litecoins, let alone silver ones. I had the idea back in October 2012 but the costs of doing it were not in my reach then. So if we want to get technical (which doesnt really matter) the idea came about first by Coblee in December 2011 when he release the acrylic physical litecoins.

Coinhoarder has put his project on hold as far as I am aware.

My plans are to expand and do many different denominations and possibly other metals. This, as I've said previously, was just a test batch to gauge interest. And the interest is overwhelming.

In my experience, looking at a hologram proof on a computer monitor, the hologram colors are exaggerated. The colors represent points on the color wheel and are not exactly the colors that will appear on the final product except at a single angle.

+1 agreed. These are silver color foil holograms. The angle will determine the colors you see just like as in your coins as well. The cool thing is you get different colors at different angles. In all the pictures I've seen of your coins not two look alike, which in my view is awesome!

So far no large group buys will be allowed. I may change this. I'm still getting feedback and trying to determine the best way to handle this first batch given they will be very limited.

You can buy them with BTC also. I will post the prices when I announce. Dollar for dollar they will be priced the same in both LTC and BTC.
