Starting to think that the altcoin house of cards is about to collapse?  Obviously it has been falling for quite the while, but with the number of cryptos coming online, does it turn off the market.  So much dilution of individual cryptos and the shear number of new cryptos coming online is unsustainable.


The market needs to get its act together and figure out that these new cryptos are killing the marketplace and will burn folks and that is no way to run a business.  I am talking to you Cryptsy.

Cryptsy is just responding to demand; it's everyone on all of these boards that are demanding new things all of the time and I include myself in that indictment.

Two last messages are spam.  Anyone care to speculate why they are posting?  Just to get the page count up perhaps?  Someone working to bolster the community appearance, perhaps?  GLC is strong, once markets sort themselves people will find it.  Cream always rises to the top.

Someone is buying low and selling high right now.  Every time I put in a sell order all trading stops.  My guess is that the profit margin is to small at my sell level so trading stops.

I retract that statement.  They are selling high and buying low, hence why the price continues to drop.  If anyone was paying attention to the market someone bought 100k Globalcoin every 10 satoshi on the buy column.  Anyway my sell order has completely stopped all trading for 32 minutes.  I'm still scratching my head on this one.

What is going on with the value of GlobalCoin?
Wolong had anounced some weeks ago to pump GLC. His tactics are to go pump short and let the value drop in order to get the 'weak hands' drop their coins and then do his final 'slow' pump.
His goal was 0.0005000. Is he still following this strategy? Or did he drop on this coin like with Panda?

Checking out new altcoina and that damn name pops up.
When it will end with wolong schemes and pumps only n00bs fall for?

If it doesn't exist in your %appdata%\Globalcoin directory then just create a globalcoin.conf file using notepad and add the text I sent in there.

Save the file with that exact name, put it in the directory %appdata%\Globalcoin, and then close + reopen the Globalcoin client.

Worked like a charm.

Advise developers re-compile QT client with UPnP dependencies enabled as the ports used by Globalcoin/Litecoin/Bitcoin are usually closed by default on most modems/routers. This would not be a version or code change, just enabling a feature when compiling/building the current QT client that should have been enabled to begin with.

UPnP (universal plug and play) resolves connection issues by allowing devices/applications to automatically instruct port-forwarding on compatible modems/routers.

Most modems/routers have UPnP support and so re-compiling the client to have UPnP enabled is highly recommended. Users will connect, sync and strengthen the network without needing to muck around with port-forwarding or addnodes.

UPnP is enabled by default for pretty much every other cryptocoin, guessing it was just mistakenly disabled when compiling the latest release?
