Why people are unhappy?

People are unhappy because of discontentment. There's discontentment with what is owned, with body image, with lifestyle, etc. But not everyone is like that. If you know yourself, accept yourself, accept that you only live once so you'll do everything that is right, that is easy, that is helpful, that is true, then that will make you happy, then you won't be unhappy.

They feel somewhat incomplete. They intend to look for companion whom they can feel that they were also cared not just because of money. These people also need affection and love cause after all the possessions gone they might that no one need them anymore. Somehow they felt that they are unworthy by then.

I think uncontentment is one of the reasons why people are unhappy. I think it is human nature to expect more and want more than the things that they have. For us to be contented, we should appreciate the things the we have. Our family, friends, job , loved ones are the reasons to be thankful for. Depression is also a common reason of being unhappy. Being a positive person and having an active lifestyle would be a big help. We should always look at the brighter side of life and always think of happy thoughts.

I agree with the reply. I think the biggest reason why a person is unhappy is because he is not satisfied with his life and how it's turning out to be. However, what causes that dissatisfaction is another topic of its own. There are so many reason why one can be unhappy. Some are not happy with some parts of their life that affects it in general, while other are not happy with their situation that it really affects their way of living, their outlook in life, and basically, how they live. It's such a menacing way to live unhappily because it's like you don't have something to look forward to or like being alive without actually living. Maybe that's why, in some countries, the prevalence of suicide is really high.

The main purpose of life is to enjoy everything that we have, many poor people are happy, they are grateful with what they have. Also a lot of people who have a lot of money, but they are not happy. So I think, the secret is to be grateful and enjoy the life we have.

Too much expectation on such little things will bring about unhappiness. But come to think of it, if people will just be settled with what they have, then I guess happiness will just follow. Being content will make you expect less. But mind you, being content is not about being a mediocre.

many people in this world who are unhappy even though their lives are all luxurious, have a harmonious family and also succeed in career, all that is because they can never be grateful for all the gifts of God, they can not be grateful for what they have.
we as humans sometimes forget to be grateful, we forget that everything we have is a gift of God, so we become unhappy for everything we have.

Most assume happiness will be achieved if have many treasures, when someone has a lot of treasures not necessarily he will be happy. Why is that, there is a motto to say "Happiness can not be bought with money or wealth" and some even say the benchmark of happiness is not a treasure. There is so much evidence that very wealthy people are not necessarily happy. Because money or treasure we can not buy happiness. The happiness we can get started from our communication in the family and all the people around us, kabahagian we can get by giving some of our property to the people who really need, such as charity to the poor and orphans. This will make us happy inwardly and spiritually.

Because someone does a lot of the time crap,and understands that the time has not come back,differently that someone loses someone finds something,if everyone would be happy,the world is completely different would be,but I think this just mostly not possible,as for example 2 guys want 1 girl,and it will get only 1,then another will be unhappy
