Why people are unhappy?

Did you ever thought why many people are not happy even they have many possessions in life?  Did you ever thought the reason behind those agonies even if they tried to be happy but it wont last that long?  Physically,  they showed to the whole world that they are strong,  they enjoy their lives to the fullest.  But at end of the day,  loneliness attacks.  Did you ever thought why people are unhappy?

hello i think people don't have love in their life. people should believe in God (or other religions) religion give more love and i think world is full of unhappy people who don't know how to love

Some people are not happy because they just want money and power. They think if they have that it makes them happy, but no.

Happy is relative. According to no guarantees people who many treasures can be happy. The rich will have a higher burden than the poor. Be afraid of losing luxuries for example. Be afraid of losing assets and more. Blessing depends on someone how to enjoy life. Be grateful for what you have. And share with those around you.

Modern people are unhappy then because they cannot experience completion.  Always there are new – and higher – standards to meet.  Inevitably, there is “unfinished business.”  Everyone is urged to move forward, but no one knows if they have already reached their destination or if that end-point is years ahead.

the world i itself is very complicated and difficult to figure out so many things. needs are not completely met. hunger, sickness, death, lack and so much more is enough to make anyone sad even the sun get sad and unhappy.

My own explanation is. One philosopher said that our heart is like a sponge, full of empty holes. Each hole is filled with different thing in this life. It can be filled with money, material things, fame, power, physical pleasure and all the things we desire in this world but there is one hole in there that nothing in this world can fill. And as long as that hole is empty you will never have satisfaction and complete joy in your life. That hole belongs to its maker and the moment you allow your maker to come into your heart/life that will be the time this hole is filled and there will be satisfaction and contentment in life and your joy will be complete.

A lot of reason " why people are unhappy" it's because of injustice, poverty and other weaknesses in life. But not all people are unhappy because there are some people always successful in their lives at all times.

But lets all not forget to be happy of what we have now, because some people don't have what we are having right now.

The reason why people are unhappy because of uncontented.They don't appreciate the things that they have in life. And lack of faith in God, because if you don't trust God you are not be able to see the blessings in your life, you always want more. I'm really unhappy because of money ..

Unhappiness is not base on money. The world are full of evilness that everybody is subject to experience unpleasant things in life that can lead to deeper agonies. Human are sarcastic in doing things and facing trouble. How to handle the emotion on why not happy or contentment is by doing the very best to win the battle in the mind. Acceptance of the facts that we all face the same in different field of challenges in our life. Happiness begin from within by the time accepting that this is all temporary.

Lack of money, no work, sickness, unconducive environment etc

Because we humans have no real good space ships to explore the universe ..
Also no UNIVERSAL INCOME for everyone.. ..

I agree with you,money is main reason which make peoples unhappy,class differences lead to the fact that not all equal,because of that,people around the world have different wages for equal work,people need to understand that money is not the main in life,only we need him to people live normal.
