99% of altcoins are scam, stop this circlejerk.

he has to sling fud its the only thing he knows how to do... oh besides his infinite talent for creating coins that perform terribly on exchanges and fork left and right while providing the delusion that he's in control.

Memecoin, I say no more.

i0coin is back from the dead, and was just added on Vircurex.

This is the Cryptsy thread not vircufailrex thread. Go do your ad-spam someplace else!
It was just showing again my interest for i0coin on Cryptsy.
Why would I "advertise" vircurex here?

+1 for i0c and TGC

Scammer tag pretty much guarantee this coin will fail.

That's good for you though, right? So another one of your scam coins can take its place? YOU cashed out just as much as r3wt did on NAN, where's your label? You're so ingrained in NAN your name is in the pzTimestamp...

I think you may have missed the r3wt scam forum where he admitted to trying to steal btc from people.

Yea I saw it, good read and I don't fault anyone who thinks r3wt deserves a large ration of shit for cashing out on NAN/GAS/etc. I just find it amusing other's involved in the NAN/etc debacles are so silent on certain topics yet so apt to be superfluously hypocritical in others.

Auto-sell doesn't work for me on CGB, MEC, PXC, and CAP. Why is that? It's not even the open order issue from before, but it's straight not working. Pretty annoying having to go into manual sales for these coins especially. For all others auto-sell seems to work. I tried disabling and enabling auto-sell again, no difference.

Not working for me for PXC.

Also can we please stop adding every coin under the sun until we can have full time no-lag trading on the coins that are already listed?  I have seen lag so bad that all of the top visible buys and sells on LTC/BTC were overlapping.  How can you even try and trade under such circumstances?  I have also repeatedly seen it take 20 minutes to an hour to refund coins from cancelled buy and sell orders.  That sucks.  Lets have stability for what is listed first and then talk about new coins.

SavingCoin please

I'm urging you not to add SavingCoin -- at this point, these junk coins are devaluing this entire market. Each time one of these things is added, the same dev and his buddies are dumping their holdings and moving on to the next scam. By listing these coins, investors are losing trust in the entire market.

Notice how the ELP thread completely died the second ELP was listed on Cryptsy? No more daily bumps/etc -- all of those goons dumped their ELP into the laps of unsuspecting investors and moved on. This same scam is happening over and over again...and the SAV people are the exact same ELP people. Elephantcoin is now in the bottom 5 for mining profitability (just as I predicted.) There's no way you made enough money listing ELP to make it worth discouraging anyone that bought ELP from trading/investing in altcoins. You're shooting yourself in the foot!

I know you're in this for profit...but your profits will start to suffer if people (completely) stop taking altcoins seriously. At this rate, we're merely a few months away from the bottom potentially falling out here. It's already growing difficult to mine for a profit after power costs...and part of the reason is that these garbage coins keep getting listed on Cryptsy. As soon as I'm losing money, I'm going to stop mining...and most big miners will follow.

You have to draw a line now -- we need to see some innovation in order to list a currency on Cryptsy and not just the same crap over and over again. You can't let these idiots continue to get away with ripping everyone else off.

I'm telling you...if you think you have a good thing going here and want the success to continue...either take my advice or brace for impact. PM me if you need more details.

Emphatic +1

It's the same group or two of people making the same coins.  And these exchanges are either falling for it or something else is going on...

I'm not the only one noticing this.  The above post by bholzer as well as others are proof, like this:   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=245938.msg3175860#new

Maples, CryptoBuck, PeopleCoin, Growthcoin, SavingCoin...probably all the same avatar losers trying to scam people, who would not in a million years show their true identity.  And there's an obvious reason for it, so don't be naive.

At this point, adding these coins does NOT help the industry.  We need to reinforce our foundation.  Perhaps an official petition might be in order, to show community support for these ideas?

Please don't add any more coins, and delist some of the ones you have.

Come on we know cryptsy thinks adding each coin brings new traders, that doesn't work indefinitely and its soon to kill the overall market. Current method is very shortsighted.

For every seller there is a buyer, the coins just dont go out of circulation because miners get rid of them. When a coin becomes unprofitable to mine, the difficulty drops to I prove it's profitability again, with the exception of coins like CHNcoin that get stuck at high diff for months (there is a fork coming to fix that) most of the coins are roughly similar, they have their groups of fans that keep trading. If trade dies, then eventually Cryptsy will drop the coin to remove clutter, so I wouldn't worry right now.

Look at ELP - those same goons are behind Valuecoin, SAV, ASC, and others. They are also the ones begging to get these coins listed. The only buyers are uneducated/new...and as soon as these things are listed the price spikes, everyone dumps, and the buyers get screwed. Sure they should have done their homework first...but why even bother listing this crap and supporting the scammers? Cryptsy is having enough problems with micro-sellers/multi-miners/etc and they should be pruning the exchange instead of adding more crap. Most people trading on cryptsy are not professional traders and they're left holding the bag because they didn't know better.

Quality control at the top altcoin exchange is important at this critical time or else altcoins in general will fail -- trust me. If any scammer can make a coin, get it listed on Cryptsy by making a bunch of fake accounts to post with and/or paying others off to assist, and then rip off uneducated buyers there is a real problem. What is the point of all of these clones? As soon as they get listed and dumped they are completely abandoned and it keeps happening. Just because there are enough suckers to make the scam work doesn't mean we should be enabling the scammers. A line has to be drawn -- it's getting a bit ridiculous.

The copy/paste coins have to stop (even the ones that aren't scams from this point forward) - this entire market is quickly becoming a joke and I'd hate to see everything collapse.

Some dodgy dev's and coins have certainly got past cryptsy filters, get the network hash up, plug a few please add messages to cryptsy (get others to do it by giving out freebies) and bam you're on and ready to dump, then copy paste your next alt.

Dev's with multiple listings, dev's with no programing experience, dev's that are known scammers, several of the devs I swear must be like 12, its all there on cryptsy and fast making it all a joke.
