Question: If everybody agrees, at this time we can push out a short term fix. I make no guarantees that the difficulty won't get jacked up again, but at this point I just want the coin to move again and don't see a long term solution coming.
Yes, "band-aid" the coin.
No, thats a waste of time. Wait for a solid fix.

Just as a quick side note:

As I was performing maintenance last night on CCE, the CRC daemon was updated to the git version that came out last night about 13 hours ago.  Smiley

On the plus side, they all have until block 9336 to upgrade.

I am at block 9332 with the 1.1.4 wallet.
According to the previous post, block 9333 should be the valid one?

Trying to solomine, but I guess its pointless?

Using the *.conf file from the first page.

I don't agree.  With 200 kh/s, (achievable with GPU mining), you would expect to hit a block around once every 5 days (at least according to the litecoin calculator).  If 10 people do that, it would take 12 hours per block.

If you have a nVidia graphics card, then you should search for cuda miner.

The command line is:

cudaminer.exe -o localhost:9223 -O <my-username>:<my-pass>

You also need to add this to your craftcoin.conf file

Code:
rpcuser=<my-username>
rpcpassword=<my-pass>
rpcallow=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9223

Well, most pools are dead or gone. Only pool left that I can find is crc.scryptmining.com. No clue whether that's up to date.
I tried to set up my own pool with the new source, but think my CentOS server doesn't have all the required bits and pieces to compile this thing, and I don't know what's needed. Not willing to experiment too much, as it's a production server.

Hey guys, if there is consensus here and new source to grab from the official repo, I'll get crc.scryptmining.com updated shortly.

http://crc.scryptmining.com is updated with latest code from https://github.com/craftcoin/craftcoin.git

Not sure if this is the updated stuff floating around, its showing the same version # as before, and I'm on the same block as before:

 "blocks" : 9332

If this is accurate, feel free to hit up the pool and get this thing going again!

It changes difficulty every 12 blocks.  The next change is at 9336 (it should half).

My humble apologies to CartmanSPC and TreasureSeeker about my earlier statement that most pools are dead and gone. My bold statement applies to most pools where I had an account. I was generalizing way too much.

Congrats on the new block!

Just an FYI....the 20 CRC in tx fee's did not hit on block 9333 but WILL hit on block 9334.

9334 block value is currently 30.3 CRC (10+20.3 in fees). Best of luck to the finder!

Yeah weird.  I guess there was a problem with them propagating?  I think the clients re-send them if they receive a block and their transaction isn't in it.

These are the pending transactions in my mempool.

I got the fees from http://crc.cryptocoinexplorer.com

The ---- one wasn't found.  Manually checking it, it has no fee (both outputs add to 10) and input is a from a coinbase transaction.

I have 15 connections.  The craftcoin client doesn't use upnp, so people need to open the port manually (12124), if they want inbound connections.

9334 hit with 30.3 total coinbase reward (10 + 20.3).

Did the extra reward help, or is it just throwing money away Smiley ?

9335 is the last block at the high difficulty.  9336 only needs half as much.
