Active Mining is now up for orders on btct.co. I see buy orders ranging from 0.0001 to 0.00315 per share. Will there be a initial fixed sell price for the shares? Or will they just fill orders arbitrarily? the people who hold the shares will determine what they want to sell them for.. everyone who has AMC shares will soon have them converted to Activemining..

Or will they just fill orders arbitrarily? They will be released at a set price. However I am unsure as to the number of shares that are yet to be listed over the two exchanges. Edit - Judging by the faster commenters above I am wrong, but I did think there was a chance of a second 'wave' of shares.

From what Ken said, there's no more need for funds for awhile; also there aren't many left from the 10M, so he's probably holding them for later down the road.

We have 6,039,284 shares issued on BitFunder and 2,924,534 shares issued on btc.to, so there are 1,036,182 shares still to be issued. I guess knowing if these shares come into the game now would be an important information for people wanting to place bids.
I read the details page on btct.co but could'nt figure this out.

No, there are more, since there are also untendered AMC shares yet in BF. IIRC the last tally was around ~9.7M.

Wow...almost the fastest I've ever added anyone to my ignore list. Only MPOE was added faster.
he sounds like he's about 12.. a smaller threat than MPOE it's market manipulation... or at least a very weak, trollbox attempt at it.

Where do we find these trolls? Let us get back on topic.
Vbs, do you know how much time will elapse after Ken paying the NRE and eASIC posting the news on their site? Also, do we have any guarantee they would post such news? It would be great to have such a link on the VMC website. Any chance eASIC would post the simulation results in said news article? That might also help increase buyer confidence and preorder demand.

Dunno how much time it will take! They usually post a PR and link it on their front page news. It would be nice to have the chip specs there also, from their latest PRs, sometimes they specify specs but sometimes not.

he sounds like he's about 12.. a smaller threat than MPOE it's market manipulation... or at least a very weak, trollbox attempt at it. Let's see... A Belize-registered virtual company with London-based PO box virtual "primary offices," freshly coined & selling virtual shares through a virtual exchange... Apparently the issuer believes that "real" shares are too good for the marks, his lolcows will have to settle for virtual shares.

That did not keep people from gaining huge profits with "virtual shares" from companies like ASICMINER. You don't have to play the game if you don't like it.

I've started a thread to see if there's interest in a US group buy for the Fast Hash series. I know some people in this thread have mentioned some interest in there being one. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261708.0

Just hit the glowing "ignore" button and don't reply to those that add no value to the thread. Genuine, factual criticism is welcome - nonsensical jibberish is not. This means you, Crumbs.
