Div payment is coming, and a question came to my mind about the future dividents:

According to Ken, the first 10M ACTM shares will be some kind of "priority" shares, and only those shares will get the dividends until 0.0025/share.
And this is the part I don't really understand:

1. Do only those shares get the divs until the sum of the paid divs reach 0.0025/share, or until the weekly div rises to 0.0025/share?
2. What does the "only the first 10M get the divs" statement mean? Will ACTM pay the divs for them like those shares were the only shares of ACTM, so dividing the profit by 10M, or will ACTM pay the divs "normally" and store the remaining BTC on another address?

There are 25M shares total.

ActM owns 15M the Shareholders own 10M

Once .0025/share has been paid out over the course of however many weeks/months it takes to do that in dividends then ActM's 15M shares will start to take Dividends (Dividends divided by 25M instead of just 10M)

This is my understanding of it, correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't really know, that is why I'm asking. Your version is my understanding too, but this brings another question forth:

After the sum of the divs reaches 0.0025/share, the divs will be paid to all 25M shares, which means that shareholders' div right after the one that fulfilled the 0.0025/share limit,  will be less than half of the previous one, am I right?

Good things come to those who wait.

Not necessarily less than half of previous.. take into account increased hashing power as Active Mining Corp grows.  But yes, 10 mil shares get paid first, then once the 0.0025 is paid to all active shares, the other 15 mil will start receiving dividends.

As to the derailing of this thread, the ignore button works wonders.  All of the information is out there, all screenshots, pictures and proof is present.  If you are still thinking this is a scam, then you need to move along.

Anyway, 0.0025/share is 60%+ of the weighted average I paid for each of my shares, so I think I'm totally happy with either understandings  Grin

All of the information is out there, all screenshots, pictures and proof is present.
An empty building and papers? Sure it proves the company exists, but will it deliver something, will investors ever get meaningful dividends (consider the market capitalization which is gigantic for such an unproven company)? Are all shares sold or did AMC buy back some with investor's money to finish their IPO?

Nobody is holding a gun against your head and forcing you to invest in this security, but here 95% of us believes in Ken and his efforts, so could you just leave this thread and nag other people?

I could have asked all the same questions during the Asicminer iPO.  Do we even know where their office is?

Yeah, not particularly happy about this (though am completely sympathetic to burnside's potential plan of action). I'm not going to panic sell on this news but I would like to hear about Ken's Plan B if this were to go down.

"Office" location is quite relevant in this case, since the office warehouse is located in US.  With Pirateat40, FinCEN made it clear that Bitcoin's not going to be treated as play money.  Regardless, registering a biz in Belize, with a mailing address in London is neither stealthy nor clever.  It's plain even to a 12-year-old like myself the warehouse is in US -- *i was given the address in this very thread.*  If a 12-year-old blunders across the address within a few posts, is it really smart to be playing these goofy shell games?  And shares are shares, calling them "virtual shares" is another infantile ploy to piss off the adults-that-matter.

BRB, recess.

Edit:  Lolz, at least one adult:  Burnside Cheesy https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252531.msg2796695#msg2796695
Edit2, @vlaoou321:  Burnside does not think much of shell games, i guess.  Earlier today (yesterday?) he pointed out that at least for now, exchanges should be treated "as a game."
Edit3: Exact quote: "I still think it's better to think of the exchange as a game."  -Burnside, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=261235.msg2795459#msg2795459

Deep breaths everyone, and stop feeding the trolls Smiley

No US citizens on btct would be pretty terrible for the market in general I think, far fewer buyers I'd imagine.  I wonder how many of it's users are in the US?
