Probably what's for lunch tomorrow. Likely outcome is grilled cheese. +1 We're not running the company, Ken is. I'm inclined to wait for the official announcement. From following the thread, I am reasonably sure he is looking at the digital simulation of the chip, paying for the NRE and exchanging high fives with the engineers at eASIC. We can expect prototypes (very late september) and low volume production in early October (based on the timeline estimates I've seen tossed around here). Personally, I'm interested in hearing more about when the 20K Avalon chips are going to show up and when we can expect those to go online and start earning us juicy dividends. Cheers!

Yes, when are the Avalons coming and what about yesterday's dividends?
Don't expect dividends until Ken & Co. get back from Cali. He has already stated they would be late this week.

There is NO WAY you're checking account gives you a yield over 1% in fact I just checked on BBERG and there are no checking accounts in the United States that currently yield over 1%. In fact the highest yield on a 1 Year CD right now which is probably a better proxy for comparison is only a little over 1.05% annual. The yield last week was actually 0.29920%, which annualized is still a 15% return if you weren't to use the drip and compound those returns.

Not sure if you are talking about putting money in a bank and taking interest but if thats what you are talking about its 3-5% annual for euro here in Bulgaria and i guess so for the rest of Europe. Edit: just googled to see what is checking account and it was not what I was thinking of. http://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/checkingaccount.aspWhat I was thinking of is when you put money in a bank and you cant withdraw it for X period of time ( usually 3 6 or 12 months )

I'm only commenting on the US banking scene right now. I'm sure in sketchier parts of the world the yields are higher but I was looking for a comparison to the risk free rate. EDIT: Yea that's the US equivalent of a CD. That's why I put that rate up as well.

No one really knows what is being discussed at this meeting except Ken and eASIC. There are speculations out there, what do you think they may be talking about?

See Ken's post here on July 3rd: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=158806.msg2647145#msg2647145They are paid for, he said 3-4 weeks from there. There is also the partnership with the Engineering Firm for producing the Avalon Clones.

Thanks for the reference. I know about those details, I was rather curious about when we'll get those boards running in terms of timeline speaking. I think reading somewhere that there might be a 2 wks delay? so factoring in the delay, maybe by mid-august earliest?

I just hope their bigger then the last Div.. Last one was like a 0.02555% Div. I can make more % on me Checking Accounts in my bank.. It's going to be smaller. No hashing increase, difficulty increase, more shares to pay out to (we are at ~95% dilution - of the 10 million, so this won't happen for following weeks). I suspect 30-40% reduced dividends. 0.00000486BTC/share

Yes, the dividend won't be as big as it has been previously. Actually, I think it might be the smallest one ever. The future dividends look great once the klondike and avalon chips go online and start mining. If some people get out after a smaller than expected dividend then maybe we can get one last shot at some cheap shares. EDIT: Also, a chequing account is essentially a liquid cash account, in Canada they pay no interest at all. We have savings accounts that pay an ANNUAL rate of less than 0.01% We also have something called Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GIC's) that lock your money in for a fixed time at a fixed rate. I.E. 1 year at 1.5% While each dividend is small, it would be foolish to overlook the fact that they are paid weekly.

I managed to make a decent amount of btc on asicminer puts during the slight volatility from the whole SEC thing and I'd like to maximize the number of ActM shares I can get.

I've been following this thread for a long time very closely. I finally got a membership to the site and can finally post!
I've been very interested in this company and I am definitely cheering it on as it grows.
One request though: Would Ken be willing to send some proof of his visit to California to show that he is indeed actually there? It's not difficult to verify and is good for the sake of transparency and gaining trust. I think it will definitely make a lot of investors happy to see it.
Thanks and good luck!
