Forgive my ignorance but how will this share price grow when there are 10 mil shares and only like 12 mil bitcoins in circulation? I guess my question is how its different from a standard company thats traded in fiat with no cap?

because the share price at the moment is 0.004 of a bitcoin. the share price can be 300 times what it is now and still not be all of the bitcoins in circulation

I need to rant a bit.. (positive this time)
The avalon clones are supposed to be the icing on the cake, but in the short-term this is all that a lot of investors are seeing it for, especially the noobs we see in this forum time to time asking crazy questions.
There is a huge advantage to be behind a company with a million bucks invested in an NRE for future product. This reminds me of BASIC-MINING, in that people were only basing it's value on its orders for current and pre-order Avalon rigs, and ignoring the fact that there was a 1000 BTC cold wallet saved up just waiting to be invested.. Look at it now, 10:1 stock split followed by a return to the original price.. that's a 10x gain for a smart investor who saw that coming.
Even though I hate the way Ken communicates, I can see the same thing happening with Activemining.. people will tend to value the stock for it's dividend ROI which we'll see when the avalon chips come in, proceeding to set the share price so that we are making roughly 25% annual return from mining -- completely undervaluing the stock as if these 28nm bad boys will never see the sun. At this point you will have the smarter investors realizing this and diving in to push this stock up aggressively.
I just hope Ken is skilled enough to pull this all off and get some actual production and assembly of the 28nm chips. I have my doubts at times.

Of all of the stocks that I am currently aware of (which admittedly isn't too many), none have as much upside potential as ActM. Raising the money for the NRE successfully was a massive confidence booster and is why I am able to make such [at the moment] ridiculous sounding projections like I've done on the Overview and Speculation thread. The only reason that I'm not all in is to have some dry powder should there be an unwarranted crash in price. Yes, diversify, eggs and baskets and all that. I see in ActM now what I saw in Asicminer when they were 0.75ea and the historical success seems to me to be repeatable if not beatable.

So should we buy these on bitfunder or btc-tc ? btc-tc is 0.006 while funder is 0.0045 why such discrepancy?
Bitfunder doesnt have as much liquidity, so it doesnt react as quickly to news Shareholders from btct should take advantage of arbitrage, sell their shares on btct and buy on bitfunder.

Real BTC in circulation and share price at the market do not have a causal relationship, for a number reasons. If I trade you 10 shares for one 1 BTC each, since you desperately want them and no one else wants to sell, just 10 BTC is needed for this transaction. When done on BitFunder, the market price is 1 BTC and there are 25,000,000 shares in total. No restriction to share price by whichever number of bitcoins in circulation. When I trade with you on BitFunder, I assume BitFunder backs the BTC you pay me for these 10 shares with real BTC and I will be able to extract these BTC from BitFunder into a address in the blockchain under my own control. These on exchange 'BTC' you pay me with, do not reside in your address in the blockchain, but come out of the BitFunder database. It's just transferring a claim towards BitFunder from you to me. Just hack the database, add some zero's and you can spend whichever amount on shares. Also, it is easy and profitable to work with a fractional reserve of the funds your being trusted with (a.k.a. banking). In that case, much more (off-chain) BTC can be spend in the total economy, since extracted BTC from the funds go back into circulation. The asset "Ukyo.Loan" is much more costly for BitFunders operator, than a direct (hidden) loan from the 'dead money' residing in BitFunder, so the last one is inevitable to happen somewhere sometime. Also a loan itself doubles 'BTC' in circulation. The lender has 'BTC' in the form of debt, while the taker has the real BTC to spend. Both have a transactional value and depending on the debtor, the debt is in a transaction 'as good as BTC'. The answer to your question is: it ain't "different from a standard company thats traded in fiat with no cap".

No, AMC will be Activemining, but the two different markets will still remain separate. you will still own the same shares, yes, but they will stay on the market you bought them on. *Edit: You must still submit your AMC-PT shares to ken BEFORE THE 31! for them to be converted into ActiveMining shares
I know variations of this question has been beat into the ground (so forgive me if Im adding to the noise) but I wanted to clarify something. Does this mean that any ActiveMining Shares held on Bitfunder can be tendered to ActiveMining on BTCT.CO (if done before the cutoff date)?

ActiveMining, AMC Dividends paid [.00000517]
Ken, I have 5000 AMC transferred on Bitfunder last 2 days ago. When is this going to be credited in my AM? What about the dividend for this? Date transferred 2013-07-23 20:32:11 I also have this problem. I tendered my 1350 AMC shares on bitfunder about 24 hours ago per the protocol and have not received my Activemining shares and missed out on the dividend. Has anyone on bitfunder successfully gotten their tendered shares yet?

There's some truly impressive market manipulation going on over at BTCTC. Now, I'm not saying that at some point this stock will be valued at 0.006, but as of right now... there's certainly something fishy going on!
'Grats to those doing the moving though.
Care to elaborate? Not sure I get what you're trying to say..

When there is a large gap in the margins someone will buy or sell 1-10 shares seeing if people will bite, and they have big time today. This would be illegal on a regulated market and honestly shouldn't show a change unless its a larger percent of the daily volume.

Very low volume, way more bids than asks... is this what you really want to call "fishy" "market manipulation" ? I'd say it's legit low-volume price jumps in part due to BTCT ActM having been live for only 40h or so.

Anyone know when KSlaughter is going to release more IPO shares at .0005? Yeah, I don't forget when someone is a douchebag price manipulator. I'd have, what, 10x the btc if I'd stayed in, but I had to sell because I assumed this douche would just sell at .0005 again. Yes, I'm bitter, but I don't see a reason not to be, until this guy releases more IPO at .0005. Otherwise, I hope this company crashes and burns to the ground. That being said, I don't want any of the bitcointalk users to lose btc (I like you guys), so I guess I'm torn. Maybe I just needed to get this off my chest and I'll be fine. Or maybe I'll drive to Missouri or Mississippi or whatever and smack Ken in the douche face.

U mad bro?
.005 shares would be awesome, just another chance to get a few more shares before takeoff.
Realistically though, after the uproar of the last incident, I would think KS would be more cautious about things.
I would think...

Or maybe this is the meme I'm looking for... (and sells when it gets back up to .0009 because he assumes KSlaughter is just going to release more god damned shares at .0005 again.
