Pls have look at DERO beta website and post your feedback and suggestions.

I try to give honest feedback to everyone, good or bad. I genuinely think overall that this is a nice site. The English version could use a little bit of polish but it is concise and to the point. The submenu off the main menu could use some font size adjustments in my opinion and it also feels a bit plain (the submenu).

I love the animated header, the layout is nice, all of the links work properly. I enjoy what I've seen so far and I feel that other people I know personally will like it as well.

Same here. I really really love the shinny and humble Dero logo. If this were an ICO, it would worth dozens of million USD, but I believe it will go far more than that in 2018 and upcoming years. My only regret is that all other coins/tokens of mine still being dumped while Dero's holding its price so well, so that I can't sell yet to accumulate this gem more.

Pls have look at DERO beta website and post your feedback and suggestions.
http://76.74.170.109/beta/

I like the overall style of the website, but I have 2 main issues with current state:

1) It is so much heavyweight it constantly takes >15 % of my processor and I'm not even interacting with the page. Animations looks nice, but it should be somehow simple and fast.

2) The "main menu" (I mean the top right icon and the overlay info that is shown after clicking on it) is confusing and doesn't make sense for me. 1) Either this page is simple scrollable all-on-single-page style -> then the menu is useless and just duplicates the info that is already on the page and confuses user. Or 2) the website will have more complex structure so some main menu is needed, but in that case it shouldn't be just hamburger icon, but rather make the categories/subsections links directly visible somewhere, not hidden this way.

Great to have those words.
Its very encouraging and different feeling when peoples approach you and say that they see no shortcuts but only hardwork in the DERO project. Whenever you hear that you get rejuvenated for more hardwork Smiley

Hi CaptDero,

I like the top animation, but maybe make it less harsh? The ball with the spikes is really strong and jumps out too much I believe. Maybe something more subtle, take the intensity down a bit so it's easier on the eyes.

On the roadmap, the last point says "Fourth Quarter-2018. Future. Read whitepaper for details." I think you need to spell out what the future is and not make people take an extra step to find out.

On the bottom, there is an "About Us" part that could use some work. Maybe expand on the team members, with some info on them and maybe an avatar next to each one...currently it reads "About Us : There are three developers working on DERO blockchain."

Right below the "About Us" there is a hand and a white glowing glob...I'm not sure what purpose that has. Maybe remove it to look cleaner?

Are you able to check your cpu utilization with the page open? I've got a 2012 Macbook Air 13" with a clean install and no other programs and I'm finding my cpu utilization floats between 55-100% usage with the beta site open. When I loaded up my processor a little more it caused the site to stutter and lag.

New Daemon can sync chain of 32000 blocks in less than half hour with 15% AVG SINGLE CPU CORE load and requires less than 1GB RAM.

that's really impressive, as slow sync speed and high disk & CPU load is a common for cryptonight coins!  Sync for etn for ex. takes more than a day for me. You may set a new standard for cryptonight!

@CaptDero
On linux, daemon is not able to sync blockchain, not even after starting from the scratch.
Seems like a bug after resizing lmdb.
Please check.
Thanks.

English verbiage is still a bit wonky here and there but overall the new website is fantastic; I'm definitely getting that "world-class" feel from it now.

I couldn't detect any change in core 0 / thread 0 usage on my Ryzen 5 1600 desktop with the web page open, but this isn't some power-starved laptop CPU, either.

Super design. Billion times better then previous. On my PC with 27" monitor and iPhone everythings run smoothly and great(CPU mining: ON).

You are welcome.
After working for long with terminals in C, ASM and debuggers attached. Its natural to love and admire cmdline and the best part is you feel great too about your site which is just another plain text Readme.  Smiley
