We need EU based alt coin exchanges!
Agree I'm always dumbfounded with all the US based exchanges, which is probably the single dumbest place to start a crypto exchange.

Yeap that really sucked... and we won't know if it's really fixed for quite a while.. but there's no real damage .. except to our pride.. LMAO
And you know we look after our miners... No miners = No coin
Well you guys certainly look after even the smallest miners....so a big thankyou!

Ok, I posted a few days ago, about my 77k worth, well, the rate at which I seem to be hitting blocks has increased. I'm now at 117k, and got a few more with transaction fees included.
Just an FYI, move along, nothing to see here.

Windows, v0.6.3.1-gfcf8683-beta version. I'm load-balance mining on both p2pool and solo, getting WAY more blocks and coins solo...
Mining on 5 PCs with both minerd and cgminer, with a load of ASICs running25GH/s on bitcoin.

The difficulty is still low, a reasonable rig can earn a lot of coins solo. I am also paying 100 SXC for every small review submitted to my site, www.porndatabase.co.uk/earn-sxc

Is the address you quoted above the first address in you list when you click 'receive coins'? *checking on something*

Yes, it is. I solo mine at SBT6vtGodDQAUx3GEzg7WF4tYMNrDHjHxJ, and put that in as the address to mine on P2pool with, but what I get paid at is gfcpNo1BBi5hvZ4P86faxksDCWeonzYf1m. But that address, doesn't show what I've solo mined. But the coins I received from solo mining, I can send to people, and I can receive at that address as well (SBT one).
Weird I tell ya, weird...

I just got two transactions, back to back, a solo mine for 500, and a p2pool payout for 56.03160164...
Weird, the 500 does not show up in the block explorer, and after 120 confs, I'll try to send it to my offline wallet...

DOH! Brain-Fart....Sorry about that.
Mining payouts don't go in an 'address' so to speak. To clarify this, go to 'help|debug window' , click the 'console' tab. Then type 'listaccounts' in the command input box at the bottom. You'll see all the coins bouncing around. Don't freak if you see a negative number, if you add all the balances up, that will be your wallet balance.
Thanks for hanging in there! ::blush::

If the exchanges continue to hold us down I'll go for a million till the end of the month What do you mean exchanges holding us down? I think we all should be on the same page with this one. Whos been asking the exchanges? Many I talk to on private channels don't want it listed yet (and as such have been requesting it not to be, and whoevers been asking possibly doesn't have the connections to have a hope of getting it listed on an exchange). The 2nd worse thing you can do to a coin is get it listed before everythings setup right (and the worse is having it listed on a dodgy exchange when you fail on the main alt exchanges).

The 2nd worse thing you can do to a coin is get it listed before everythings setup right (and the worse is having it listed on a dodgy exchange when you fail on the main alt exchanges). Just so there's no misunderstanding, the Dev team has made some initial inquerys about getting on exchanges and not all responses have been negative. I think we are all in agreement that it is too early and we want to build the coin and its uses first, but we wanted to get a feel for how it all works, so that if the time is ever right, we have some dialog built up. So to be clear, we don't have plans to get on an exchange until we can build some value into the coin, and it makes sense. We want the coin to stand on its own, not be a speculators toy. I think Digger said it best: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=252896.msg2807255#msg2807255

I suggest change Sexcoin name to SXCoin, so exchange will accept it.
We've had this discussion a few days before. What is so scandalous only in the word sex? I'm not understanding people offended by the word sex itself. How bizarre conditioned are these guys? I don't wanna loose my freedom supporting sex. There is nothing wrong with sex. IMHO there's no hurry to get on exchange. Yes there are differing opinions about the name and the value of having it on an exchange both in the dev team and in the wider community.. I don't think that an owner or a user of an Adult Site cares about the name. I do think that the owner of an adult site doesn't want to mess around on cryptsy, and worry that the coins value just halved or tripled.. I suspect that they would prefer to sell coins back to the users at their own site for cash, at a stable price that most sites are using.. sell too high and people buy from a different site, sell to low and you are cutting into your own profit.. This coin is meant to be used in commerce, not speculated on in an exchange because it "could be" useful in the future. But that is just my personal opinion, and as I have said, opinions differ on these points. I'm sure that as the coin develops we will see how it is adopted, and whether it is rebranded I will sell my coins, and your coins and whoevers coins through my porn site. What do you think I should charge to start? This --> I suspect that they would prefer to sell coins back to the users at their own site for cash, at a stable price that most sites are using..

I mined some litecoins, back in the day they were considered a joke, for about two weeks..
About 3 or 4 months later I cashed them out for about 4000$..
I'm kicking myself that I didn't leave my rigs on...
I consider that SXC is a bit of a sleeper... It will be considered a bit of a joke by some, and I don't mind mining it while it is ridiculously easy to do so.. Though the hashrate is slowly growing..
The other thing is SXC is underdeveloped at the moment.. We are still in the stabilisation phase.
There's alot we can do with a hardfork.. change the difficulty retargeting to make it more resistant to what I call "flash mining", for example, but we are keeping quiet about our development plans. This is because theres a few things we've come up with that we don't want implemented on other coins before we do them ourselves.
As I've said before, opinions on the coin differ in both the dev team and the community, and I wouldn't want it any other way. It's healthy to have different perspectives so things can be considered from all angles. The inclusion of SXC on an exchange is something that really is beyond our control at the moment, an exchange could add it today if they had the inclination.
Personally I would like to mine it a bit more, have an client with outstanding coin characteristics and a few services good to go to give more than speculative value to the coin first, but it's not my call.
