Its recompiling on 20 nodes now. Lets see how it runs

First impression is 1200PPs to 2000PPS

form 700-800 too over 2000pps for me on i5 ivy

Sollid 50% increase in pps with your patch, thanks! (Ubuntu, single core Xeon based VM).
I'll let you know if I find a block, but I've been mining since release and only pulled an orphan, so far, so...

sudo apt-get install git

then run
git clone https://github.com/primecoin/primecoin

(or git clone https://github.com/Chemisist/primecoin for my optimized version, until the pull request is committed on the main branch)

then follow the instructions in doc/build-msw.md

I never got the windows compilation to work when this first launched on Sunday, so I've been doing all my development in Xubuntu 12.04.  There are some guides in the main thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=251850.0) if you need help compiling.  Not sure the exact pages they were on, but somewhere in the 30-60 range
