for how long do you need to own the stock in order to collect dividends?
If you own the stock when dividends are paid you will receive them. Dividends are usually paid out on Thursdays (US time). They are pretty close to receiving nothing at this point, though. You should be more focused on share price growth than dividends until the Avalon clones are up and running. could you estimate when will the avalon clones up and running??

Around 2-4 weeks I believe; Ken will likely address this in his update that will be posted "as soon as possible" (probably tomorrow). The Klondike boards should be up a bit sooner than that, but those are only ~400GH/s (doubling the current hashrate) vs 5,000GH/s from the clones.

Ken posted that the chips are ~2 weeks delayed, so I'd say sometime in September. Klondikes should be soon tho. Ninja Edit! Found the quote We are about a week behind on the Avalon prototypes, due to us having to get some bitcoins converted. I was dragging my feet due to the price of bitcoin being $68 at the time. Everything is looking good for the end of August for the Avalon clones. Looks like our 20,000 chips are going to be about two weeks late from what I have read.

Some speculating!
I think that tomorrow, after Ken has posted the new info and people have doubled their btc garden money and cashed out, that we will be back in the 0.0067-0.007 range

This seems extremely unlikely to me; why would someone invest $200M into a company that can barely fulfill its current orders, and why into a mining company instead of Bitcoin infrastructure? Assuming this is true it means there will be competition for ActM but not for at least a year... even giant semiconductor companies like AMD and Intel are not on 20nm or lower yet. The performance difference between a 28nm and 20nm chip would be miniscule compared to the huge advantage presented by downscaling from 130nm to 20 or 28nm. I am trying to figure out why the price on Bitfunder dropped 20% today (on low volume, but still...). Is it because of this elusive competition, or is it because people think Bitcoin is going to crash because of the Tor / Freedomhosting fiasco? Maybe there is another reason but I don't see it.

I was watching BitFunder today, when that price drop happened, and I think it happened because the market is really thin. there really were not that many shares between .006 and .004, so if one person sells 20 shares, it look as if there is a serious price drop, but notice how quickly the hole got filled in. Don't confuse noise for signal. If you look at the prices in .0001 increments instead of .000001 increments, it was not as big of a drop as it might appear. This seems extremely unlikely to me; why would someone invest $200M into a company that can barely fulfill its current orders, and why into a mining company instead of Bitcoin infrastructure? ^ Right from the horse's mouth! 20nm will only start being price competitive in ~2015 and will have hardly any price advantage over 28nm, since there are various manufacturing process constraints which raise the cost a lot.

Do any of you guys mine? I mine only about 38 GHash, but all of my proceeds from mining go to my BitFunder account where I buy into several stocks including ActM. I also mine on BTCGuild and on TeamAMC just for fun. It is my belief that ActM will hit .01 BTC per share by December of 2013 and that BTC will get to $140 USD per BTC. Given that belief, I am going long and am just buying slowly and using dollar cost averaging. The day to day noise (price fluctuations) is not important. What is important is the slow progression upward and the fact that the Fast Hash machine will make profit for ActM both in terms of sales and in terms of mining. I should not say positive things about ActM, because then some of you will buy and the price will go up. Please, ActM is terrible, sell your shares for whatever you can get, and allow me and the others who foolishly believe in the long term goals of ActM to make the terrible mistake of buying up your shares.
