Latest news, kinda depends what you mean as latests its btc land so the half life on news is like 3 posts. Important stuff is easic confirmed the deal, unimportant stuff is a lot of bickering on the main thread about the logo. I keep this updates with the most important relevant things http://www.activeminingbtc.com/Also share price is getting smoked on Bitfunder, pretty steady above 3 on btct

What's up with the huge discrepancy? Most of the Bitfunder crowd got in around 0.0005 and 0.0008, so what do you expect in vacuum of useful information.

Where'd the November date come from as far as ActM's miners going live? Is that unofficial?

If you're going to set out on a jihad against stock photos, please note ACTM also used Google Images instead of a graphic designer. Cointerra is not going to absolutely crush Activemining... .... ....because HashFast is going to crush them first!!!

because HashFast is going to crush them first!!! Out of interest, does anyone have a counter argument to this? Will HashFast destroy us?

In my view, there isn't going to be only one profitable company. There will likely be several.

So Cointerra will be superior to ActiveMining?

So Cointerra will be superior to ActiveMining? Look at the difference between bitfury and KnC. Bitfury has better power efficiency, even though they're 55nm and KnC is 28nm. The difference is bitfury is a 'full custom' ASIC while KnC is a standard-cell design. It's likely that HF and Cointerra are using full custom designs. Their performance is probably pretty similar, and really fast. 16-20x the speed of ActM's FPGA copy design. I doubt it's because they use 16-20 as much die space. Because they need to mount fewer chips per board, their boards may be cheaper as well.
