Although other cryptos are having the same increase but Bitcoin is having a higher rate. The proof to this is how its market value grew within the past two years.  As such investing that amount of money to bitcoin has a chance to yield into huge profit in the future.

Long term investment that will bring profits, I would say ETH, if you are looking to invest in a coin and forget about it for at least a year. Bitcoin can also be consodered but we are seeing an uptrend so I wouldn't rush to put money now.
