Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term? How long should I hold it? Is there a risk that I might lose it all? I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help.  I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea? All cryptocurrencies have a risk of losing value, unlike gold rising because inflation is affecting too, as you see in markets where the price of cryptocurrency is unstable, I can only suggest dogecoin or TRX, if you want you can buy ETH, BCH, LTC and XML. |

you have to make a big research first of all and also invest half of the amount or even one third cuz you dont wanna lose.or if thats a small amount for you then okay. you should invst on xpr or eth.

I think that the best options for the future are NEO, ETH and perhaps some new coins like goNetwork or Quark. I also like exchanges like Binance coin and Qurrex.

First don't invest huge money if you are new, first read about cryptocurrency ant others coin too and also read in which country regulate it and which are not it's very important thing in investment in cryptocurrency.
Now don't invest all money in one coin split your money and invest in different different coins.
You can choose good coins like bitcoin, litecoin, XPR,NEO , ETH and etc but before entry read about coins details current situation of coin and market condition too.

Investing in Litecoin is not the best choice. I would have invested in the Tron, if I were you. They have a release of their network.

Beside Ethereum I think the platform coins/projects like EOS, LISK and Ark have with their very active team and community great potentials and good future. From my point of view these coins are the perfect candidates for the long term investment.

So if you have 12K$ much good if you divide it into 4 partition, because there are several altcoins here that are really potential such as Ethereum, Neo, Utk, And Tky. |

In my opinion best of the best coins for a long term investment are still Ethereum and Bitcoin. So If I had 12000$, I would invested 8 000$ in BTC and 4 000 in Ethereum.

Nothing is safe .If the market is don't everything start falls.But if you invest in coins which is already low then when market will high they can profit.So go for some good coin with your 59-60% portfolio.Like btc and eth with 6000-7000$ after that buy some ok type coin like neo Ada EOS TRX and more.30% and last 10% go risky which can give huge profit .Or you also can go for some ico.

I don't think it's the best idea to invest everything in only one coin. It's a risky decision and i prefer to choose several coins and also maybe some ICOs.
