Oh yeah, and as for PoolPicker, it's crap. None of the daily payouts it lists for MC coincide with any of my payouts. Some of the days it plots as low were the some best days I have had and some of the highs it reports were low or moderate days.
If I compare the stats to the biggest miner on the pool 1BtzFDErNKMMFeCSkho9tK7Cr8eus64x5K it's fairly consistent. And basically what I do with PoolPicker is to take the payout/MHs so it's the no bullshit average payout per contributed MHs for the whole pool. But then again middlecoin has a huge problem with inconsistency between miners, a good day for someone can be a crappy day for another even if they have the same speed, rejects, pool and ping.

Which in itself is another major negative to MC! its bogus how some peeps get one payout per mhs and some get another. I hope in the next month or so this place is back to where it should be, or dead and buried

I decided to try load balancing around 20 megahashes equally between middlecoin, clevermining, and wafflepool about ten days ago. It's hard to compare them fairly since middlecoin pays out late at night, wafflepool pays out early in the morning, and clevermining sends little payments all day long. If I look at what has been paid to my wallet as of right now, Middlecoin is still paying better for me. If I completely drop Middlecoin's earnings for the first day to account for Middlecoin's previous unexchanged, as of right now, Middlecoin is still number one for me even though Wafflepool has paid out this morning and Middlecoin will be sending more tonight. If I look only at what has been sent to my wallet as of right now, and go back seven days, then Clevermining is in the lead, followed by Wafflepool, and Middlecoin.
All three pools are very close on earnings for me. Just looking at payments for the last seven days, when Middlecoin pays out tonight it will go back to being number one for me. Clevermining will send some little payments and jump around in my stats, and when Wafflepool pays out tomorrow morning it will probably go back to the top. Without playing with the numbers or increasing my sample size I can't really say for sure that any one pool is an order of magnitude better than the others. heh..

Middlecoin's hash rate at payout last night was 12622Mh/s (accepted + rejected) and the payout was 201 BTC. That's .016 per Mh/s so poolpicker is way off and MC beat everyone by a lot.
Hear's my data:
timestamp,Username,"Accepted MH/s","Rejected MH/s","Immature Unexchanged Balance","Unexchanged Balance (estimated BTC)","Balance (BTC)","Paid Out (BTC)"
1393476617,Total,12078.5702,493.8280,19.87233948,192.55797678,223.41480000,16021.19496331 1393477214,Total,12205.6111,417.0629,21.53591749,193.83152654,24.30117682,16222.16594070
That's because I did a manual override because of it was diffing to much and there was a payout for 0.001-0.01 balances (50 BTC) as well, but I'll redo my calculation since it's seems a little bit off, and I'll rewrite my BTC/MHs calculator work better after I've had dinner. On the other hand I noticed that if you take the BTC/MHs for the top miners on the pool number 1,2,5 get ~0.006 BTC/MHs whereas number 3 and 4 got ~0.017 BTC/MHs. This is really strange to me. I also did a calculation on the SUM(bitcoinBalance) of all miners balances vs the totalBalance and there is a 20 BTC diff right there.

Are they all mining at a constant hash rate for a few days? I didn't mine here at all yesterday so my hash rate was zero but I got a payout of .013. That's infinite profit! (or undefined, or a divide by zero error ). Built up unexchanged can make a big difference. EDIT: If you're basing the calculation only on the hash rate at payout time it could be off for that reason too. We really should use average hash rate for the day (or something). Top miner 1 has has a hash rate increase over the last few days so that would skew the numbers down and they would miss having as much unexchanged from the last few days. I don't have time to do the math right now. I should be working on something else, not surfing the forums all day ;p But, I can send you the data for that user if you don't have it.

Sorry, I missed your point about the payout yesterday including a clean up below .01. I'd say poolpicker should just be about the payout number. After all, those funds weren't paid out two days ago, and that lowered the numbers for MC. You didn't adjust for that. My vote is to let poolpicker be a horse race between pools just based on simple numbers. Some pools have more variation but it should average out.

There dont seem to be any unechanged transactions, because otherwise the graph would go completely straight. The funny thing about MC and payouts, is that if you divide the BTC by the hashrate, you SHOULD in theory get your actual payout, but it hasnt been the case lately. Not really sure whats up.

I like your site so I'm glade you're working to keep it accurate. You're right that total hashrate needs to include rejects. Do the numbers for the other sites include that? <<and guess who mined on clever yesterday when it would have been better to stay here... Of course I got a payout from MC too even with zero hash, so it wasn't all bad>>

Probably half of it was from unexchanged so you had to be mining for a few days to have whatever coins paid off so well in your wallet. I got an OK payout yesterday and I did't even mine here. I did mine steadily for several days before that though. Guess it payed to keep the faith, even for a pool hopper like me

I just mined the crap out of MIM for quite a few days but now it has dropped to 1 satoshi and it isn't as worth it anymore. I'm just now switching back to multipools and splitting between middlecoin and clevermining
