Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

They are afraid because Bitcoin claims that "This is the first decentralized peer-to-peer payment network supported by its users without central authority or intermediaries." The lack of central authority is the main reason why governments are afraid of cryptoes. To understand this fear, it is important to know a little about government and conventional currencies .

Those who are afraid with Bitcoin are those who didn't know what Bitcoin is. It always pays to read information about what is Bitcoin. Gathering information really important to newbie like me.

Banks are likely "afraid" of bitcoin and blockchain. Many governments, and banks, are embracing blockchain technology in order to make small advances in improving operational efficiency. Some governments are even planning to launch their own cryptocurrency, to make electronic transactions easier. if that currency is not decentralised (meaning government doesn’t have total control over it technically and legally) and is not mathematically limited in supply, then it will just be a mere technological improvement over fiat. Governments will still be able to make more of it, and it will still be backed by debt — i.e. it will have the same inflation and default risks as fiat.

People who have not enough knowledge about bitcoin tends to be afraid of it, because we all know that the news wants to show people that cryptocurrencies is not a good investment or it is just a scam, everything they need to say so that people don't try to use bitcoin. And most of them are afraid of new things, you're right, they are not willing to take this kind of risk which is really indeed life changing.

I think Bitcoin is still relatively safe currency, because no one can know the identity of the owner of Bitcoin. But as you know, some well-known exchanges are already asking for verification. It's good or it's still hard to say . It is because of verification that many stages are afraid of bitcoins

The reason why people are afraid of bitcoin is because of its price, the unpredictable bitcoin price now makes people running because prices are sometimes down and up. Even so, but I believe many people are still investing in bitcoin because they believe the price will surge later. If so, I will invest in bitcoin.

Bitcoin worries the tax authorities. In total, at the moment there are about 16.5 million bitcoins with a capitalization approaching 79 billion dollars. This is not so much, considering that the capitalization of the world stock market is almost a thousand times larger. But the growth of the value of the crypto currency can not but disturb state structures.

Bitcoins excite the minds of the society since their cost exceeded the psychological mark of $ 1,000 per unit and began to grow steadily further. Since at the same time in technology most people do not understand much, the topic has acquired various rumors and speculations, for example, that with the help of crypto currency it is easy to evade taxes.

the possibility really exists, both with the use of crypto currency, and without it, because bitcoin is just an instrument, and in many respects much more open than classical means of payment, the coordinator of the "blue buckets", who is actively interested in lately, questions the crypto currency Piotr Shkumatov:

Blocking is an absolutely open technology. Anyone can see which purse is how much money. When you come to the exchange office, which asks you for an e-mail and a phone number to drop you an SMS saying that the exchange of bitcoins for dollars has been successful, what kind of anonymity it might be talking about. In order to maintain anonymity, it is necessary to provide for some precautions.

Attacks on the crypto-currency from the state in the near future will certainly increase, until the global financial system fundamentally changes on the basis of blocking technology, I am convinced that the founder of the crypto-currency PRIZM, a specialist in crypto-currencies and block-technologies, Alexei Muratov

When they say that bitcoin can be used for some terrorist purposes and everything else, it's ridiculous. Bitcoin is probably the most recent tool that would be used if it was necessary to finance an illegal event. The existing world financial system is, in fact, a financial pyramid based on the US dollar.
