So the way i see it... only way to get to the quark market is by enriching early miners and buying from them.. since its mostly mined out...

CPU mining is flawed - botnets and huge vpn networks.

What initiative is there for new people to even bother with a coin thats mined out  by perhaps 100-200 people? Feels like a get rich scheme.

^^^^^^^^^^^

Ha ha sure i suppose you could be confused about that ......until you see those  so called  "few 100's" selling all the quark they have **millions** at under 3c ha ha !  : D

Someone is reaaaaaaally 'smart'

Come on dude! You're killing the rise! Sell in smaller chunks.

this is awesome - they are Buying up the Quark off exchange likely don't forget there are a few people walking around with millions of LTC and BTC - so they are offering to buy Quark off exchange overpriced to dump it on our investors at a low price -

this is the free market at work - soon when all the volume of Quark has been transacted though a,  ha ha,  Single exchange - who can try to say  "its all held by the insiders"  - ha ha

that sell order will go the same way as the others - into the pockets of our investors , and we thank you .
He maybe needs fiat asap, who knows

99% is as good as mined out. you may be able to make a few quarks with a botnet or large vpn - but the power costs  wont even remotely be close to what you gain.
Which means   hoarders of 100-s of millions are simply enriched with all the new users.
Because the botnet owner pays the electricity bills of the affected machines.

lol...

I don't understand why some people claim botnets could become a problem for QRK.
I mean if I have a hidden process that uses up 100% of my CPU, I will know it.
People who know nothing about computers will realize something is wrong, and tell someone who knows more about computers.

I understand botnets can send spam mails etc... without the user realizing it. Tasks with small or no CPU usage.
But to have the CPU cycle away at 100% for hours without the user realizing that his computer is no longer usable for anything else.... that is impossible.

Depends on the computer. I have QRK mining in the background all the time and barely notice any performance effect (i5). Although, I would still definitely notice if something other than my actions were taking up the CPU. So maybe it balances out: those with a good enough computer that they might not notice the effect likely know enough about said computer to notice the botnet anyway.

Yes ok, if someone has an 8-core cpu but uses that machine for only a little office-work... he might not ever realize any performance problems...

But wouldn't the louder cpu fan also draw attention?

QRK is on its way to 0.0025!

The big sell will either disappear -- somebody is accumulating here for a 20x gain

or it will be bought by somebody to get the 20x gain.

Not necessarily. I can barely hear mine and it's running right now at near 100%. On a laptop, yes definitely. A 100% CPU and the thing sounds like it's about to take flight. A high end desktop rig in a good gaming case and you barely hear the CPU at all.

dang darn... but maybe the additional power consumption will wake some people up, no?

If my 8-core is at 10% it really draws only about 30 watts... so my whole system (motherboard, monitor, etc..) draws about 140 watt...
But when it goes to 100% cpu it is more then 200 watts...

why, then they should build computers that make moaning and gasping sounds!! Some form of obvious indication of "high effort"

Have you tried to compare Quarkcoin to other top cryptos on Google Trends?

I've been just watching it and it looks really promissing Cheesy

Look: http://t.co/vcmZwATGC3

Try other cryptos in there, only a few are searchable in such a scale! And Quark is among them!

I started new thread to discuss this case:  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=362321.0

Hello everybody,
I am new on this forum and new altogether in the world of Crypto currencies..

Anyways, here are my 2 cents..

I read very well many topics around this forum and I investigated almost all the alts out there on the market.
I really see the future in this. Our current monetary system doesn't work and this is more than obvious. Printing money and bailing out banks, those same banks that got us into the crisis and those same directors to whom these banks are paying out huge bonuses while many of us, average Joes out there are barely surviving. This doesn't make any sense..

As for the alts, I have decided to go with the Quark.. Nowhere online have I seen such a movement about the coin as I have seen within the Quark community, except of course with btc and ltc.. And this is truly impressive.. Word of mouth is amazing and I truly believe this is the most important thing.. Yes there is a lot of hate around the web about the Quark, but there was a hate about every new thing in this world in the beginning. This is just how a human being operates..

All the allegations how Quark is premined and so on are very irrelevant to me.. There will always be monopoly in anything we do.. The same situation is currently with the btc and with the mining capabilities of btc of ordinary people.. Market will soften up the problem of the wales in a long run if it even exists in Quark..

Also donating Quarks for the promotion (Still, Keiser).. I do not see anything wrong with this.. How is this coin supposed to bounce of the ground if we don't give it a push..

Bitcoin is number one and in my opinion will stay so, but there is room for at least couple of more currencies to succeed out there.. There is just not enough btcs out there.. Just to count all the zeros out there when we are counting little amounts of btcs is a huge headache.. This is one flaw of the btc.. Also speed of btc is a second flaw..Imagine paying a coke one day in the supermarket with a btc and having to wait on the register one minute for transaction to go through.. I think that Quark has an edge over btc here..

Now, it is extremely hard to buy these Quarkcoins out there.. I have been trying to do so from France for couple of days and still didn't manage to do it, to buy the coin from the exchange.. My accounts are approving at this moment.. And i consider myself tech savvy, so I can just imagine how hard is it for ordinary people.. And I can see an interest here in France from ordinary folks about the Quarks.. I just hope that soon enough it will be possible to trade these for USD or EUR.. Probably that is why ebay business of selling Quarks at the moment is booming..

I honestly believe that if it was easier to buy these coins, up to know, the price would be double what it is right now..

So people, let's keep working and investing into this.. i already have some of my friends interested and I am collecting people further..
If you wish to donate me couple of Quarks for a beginning, you can do so..
Thanks and go Quark!!
have you seen this site my friend http://forum.qrk.cc/ if your having issues, there is lots of investors, traders etc on here, that will help im sure
