I think it is due to christmas time some peopel want to have cash for shopping, and i believe in Feb.2018 bitcoin price will rasie again.

bitcoin seems to have a point where investors are pulling all the profits they get when they buy bitcoins at cheap prices and are currently taking advantage of bitcoin, do not worry the new year 2018 bitcoin will be very expensive and more expensive.

The price graph are moving downwards due to some price manipulation by reputed investors and shifting their interest into BCH showing it more profitabale compared to btc which is surrounding negativity around people but this drama is going to end soon and prices are again going to surge with great pump so have faith in its price.Financial agencies are also showing their negative attitude towards it's popularity due to which people are getting panic but it will recover soon and reach new milestone.

Agree, buying more number of bitcoin and holding the already having bitcoin is really a very good idea for having more profit at the end of the day. Right now, the market price of bitcoin is decreasing and it is really a very good opportunity for all of us to buy as many bitcoins as we can. Bitcoin will for sure rise in the near future and at that time, it will not be possible for you to buy more bitcoin.

Even if bitcoin ends up rising a lot in the future, that does not mean you still would not be able to buy but the best thing is to have bitcoin being useful and not just end up being an asset that the only thing driving it is just mere speculations when of course there are huge signs everywhere showing how useless it has been using it for even huge transactions and waiting for a long period of time with high fees to get your transaction confirmed and that is making a lot of people to lose faith because it sucks.

Well tehre is no telling what is going to happen with the bitcoin, some analysis claim that bitcoin will go down maybe go down to 6k and than go up 22k but i don't know why they would say that, after these forks that have been happaning left and right and with the segwit cancaling, many people were dissapointed and the hype that was before it that pushed the price is gone, but if there is one thing for sure is that bitcoin will always come back again, we jsut need to be paitent and not make any mistakes that will regret in the future.

In my opinion, it would be better to hold Bitcoin.Bitcoin prices may increase as demand for bitcoin is increasing.Few month ago bitcoin price was less and now the price of Bitcoin is high.As the technology gets better, people's interest in Bitcoin is increasing.

Last week, Bitcoin had a lot of fluctuation, but this is a sign that it is consolidating to wait for a stronger signal in early 2018. Trends in crypto market growth in 2018. Then it hit 8,000. Ok now it's risen as much as the early 2013 bubble. It HAS to end now. But then it keeps rising, way past that. Now coins are worth $13,500. Woah. What's up with that? That's way too much. It's gotta correct.

How time flies, beginning of the year bitcoin is just $700 then it reaches $19K, then it plummeted in $13K. That's the nature of this market. Very volatile and unpredictable. People cash out take profit and that's it. I guess by now you should understand how the market works and it will not go upward everything. Most of the time is will go on a sideward and downward trend.

You will hear people advising you to HOLD. Because of this very reason. HOLD and never sell because bitcoin is for long term investment. If you see prices going down and sell, then you will lose a  lot of potential profit in the future.

Even though Bitcoin hasn't even done that well this year.

XRP has done much better, and so has Dash (NEO too, since it was worth 0.1 USD or something), even though neither of them has the Bitcoin hype/blind money, since most of the new public investors just invest in Bitcoin.

I believe that 8k is possible, and am mentally ready for it, but honestly XRP and I'm sure a good number of others should have "crashed" many times over (literally it has done many times better than Bitcoin this year), and they have proven that they can rise beyond your expectations.

That's why the run should not be over. Not by any means.

Stability is not a thing for bitcoin, the price will pump and dump but we can expect it will rise in the future.
If you are a long term holder you are lucky because you will not easily panic when the price dump as you have your own big target to sell.

I will do both, sell and hold. Sell (when price is high) some of it when i need money, then hold the remaining. Bitcoin's price increase with time.
If you want to gain more profit, then hold it. But if you need money especially during emergency situations, then its not also bad to sell SOME of it.

I don't know this very deep price reduction is because price correction or because hardfork happens? but whatever the reasons that make bitcoin prices go down. you do not have to be afraid and panic about the current bitcoin market condition, do not cutlose because it will hurt you, better be patient and hold, even in my opinion this time is the right time to buy. because of course the bitcoin price will go back up and you're lucky to buy bitcoin at such a low price

Possibly expect the price bump to happen by the starting days of the year 2018.

it is not a good idea to sell right now because the market is going up not down. it is always a good idea to sell when the market value starts dropping.

It's not yet too late to buy now since the price is not in the line of ATH, so the chances are big if you hold it for a long time. And i think this is just the [rice correction that's why it goes down or maybe because it's christmas that's why a lot of users are selling their Bitcoins.There's a simple rules in the market, always buy low and sell high these are the basics when you enter in the Bitcoin economy.

It is not too late honestly, bitcoin is showing some good sign of testing the upward trend soon, and I would rather wait a little bit anyway if you know how to follow trend to know when to buy even more. However, if you are considering holding for the long term, the market is one that is here to stay and no matter the huge correction, bitcoin will thrive and get better both in characteristics and value.

If you people do think like bitcoin's value around $15k is more than enough and not meaningful for bitcoin's value then time will prove all of you as wrong predictors. Profit booking by whales and traders is the only reason why right now bitcoin prices are range bounded.
