Lol, I think the last few months really showed us that Bitcoin is still the king and that the prices of altcoins is still tied to the price of bitcoin. Yes Ethereum has the potential to overtake Bitcoin but it will take some time before that becomes a possibility. Anything is possible in crypto markets and only time will tell if this is possible.

I don't think it will be easy for etherium to take number one in this field because this Field is not free from competition , here every coin has competition in every ways like competition of users , competition of giving better technology , competition of big support of investors and also many .
So here surely everything is almost in favour of bitcoin, so for etherium it will not be simple to get at position one in comparison of bitcoin .And also here I am sure that etherium will be big competitor for bitcoin because it has many advantages over bitcoin fasciliities .

Bitcoin and Ethereum has its own purpose, Ethereum is developed as a platform which facilitates peer-to-peer contracts and applications via its own currency vehicle. Bitcoin is created as an alternative to regular money and is thus a medium of payment transaction and store of value.

In my insights about these crypto currencies, I think bitcoin is still powerful than etherum because bitcoin is the pioneer of the virtual currencies, and as I know most of the prices of alternative coins depend on the price of bitcoin. For me, Its possible that Ethereum may overtake Bitcoin. Although Bitcoin has a network greater than any other crypto but it does not support the number of Altcoins as Ethereum.

No, although ethereum is also popular but not means they can overtake ethereum because bitcoin has a strong market capacity and with so many investors worldwide.

It is quite impossible but still doesn't a close possibility, thus returning to each are willing to invest in the ethereum or not, if you want then could have these coins will continue to evolve and may exceed the bitcoin.
