Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

Something must happen that will be the main reason why ETH first time will hit BTC price.

My opinion in the next 5 years ETH overtake BTC, simply because it has a good platform for creating new tokens.
The main problem in the future maybe transaction fee.

I think anything will be possible under sun. Well I think it is not juat a question it it will overtake bitcoin but also a question of when. People are waiting for what coin will succed bitcoin. I think in the future it will surpass bitcoin but not now since bitcoin is still strong by nature.

Yes, and I'm sure that this will happen in 2018, there are a lot of projects on blockchain Ethereum now and they are just beginning to be realized, so we are waiting for growth. But Bitcoin will also be strong and will remain in the top crypto currency.

Maybe it could come true , but I don't think it could happen in 2018. It's hard to say ETH will overtake Bitcoin .ETH will be grab the second place only in the crypto market. Bitcoin which is mined at the early time still hold by the miners who have done that time. It is very hard to believe that Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin because it is Bitcoin that will tells the future of Ethereum and not Ethereum itself and we can even observe that with there market price.

I think this is a very plausible idea. Btcis just a means of payment while ethereum provides developers with huge infrastracture to develop better and better applications. The more popular apps there will be the higher will be the price of eth.

That wont happen. Bitcoin is the main cryptocurrency and ethereum were just a mere diversion of bitcoin. It's purpose is to secure bitcoin exchange in the form of alt coin and that the ethereum. Eventually if bitcoin price will go down so does the ethereum. The price should coincide with bitcoin.  Nowadays there were lot of alt coin created and it is only a merging coin from bitcoin. So if there is anything that we could consider its legibility, there is nothing else and that is only the bitcoin system. Hopefully when there will be another update these alt coins could be consider as an eligible for exchange to fiat money or cash. Then these alt coin could be consider as independent to bitcoin.

Of course this is unlikely, but I think that it is thanks to such falls as we have seen in recent months that a new leader may emerge. What is bitcoin today, But it can become Ethereum tomorrow.

It is not looking like ethereum will overtake bitcoin. But why not? Some people say that it is not possible but it is possible for sure. Everything can happen in this market. Even bitcoin cash can overtake bitcoin. Yes bitcoin is the king of the market right now but it should be updated regularly.

Until Ethereum fixed its total supply coin, Ethereum can not overtake Bitcoin. Ethereum has good technology, even, I can say it is the best technology just after blockchain of Bitcoin. Vitalik Buterin really understand the biggest problem of the world and he created this coin with smart contract to help us solve this biggest problem - the faith!
