There is an unofficial news.
796 will public a new withdraw fee policy soon.
Every account will have some zero fee withdraw chances according to the VIP level. For example,Level 4 users have 4 free times.

Still a dealbreaker for me.

Neo & Bee (IMO) was a very good indicator of where the liquidity is located.  In the first couple days of their VIPO they raised thousands of BTC on Bitfunder, almost as much on BTC-TC, and only about 700B on Havelock.  HOW ARE YOU GOING TO TRADE AN ASSET THAT HAS A MARKET CAP OF AT LEAST 8,000 btc ON AN EXCHANGE THAT HAS (almost certainly) LESS LIQUIDITY THAN HAVELOCK?!  (usurious fees, and probably fractional BTC reserve, are only the smallest problems with the 796 exchange idea).

Don't pay any attention to 796 shills.  It's a terrible idea promoted by shills and others who don't know that that ship has already sunk.  If 796 manages to con Labcoin into migrating there then bank on a crash in share price much below ipo levels.

If Labcoin moves to Havelock, then obviously people will move their BTC there to buy shares.

Labcoin is going to have a hard time going anywhere if they don't stick to their words.

New payment just came in.

The period indicates a 166Gh/s hashrate (estimate) over this payment period.  Over the past four periods the hashrate estimate would be 263Gh/s but that includes two of the previous once per hour payments.

It's not clear what's going on, but there is still some hashing happening.  The rate is still low enough that it could be their Avalons hashing only. But let's hope not Grin

If I had a company that was looking for a new exchange I'd make sure my shareholders were as well-informed about the state of the company as possible.  I certainly wouldn't want to give them the impression that my product worked when in fact it did not.

That's the kind of thing that could make another exchange unwilling to accept you.

This is not a real update on anything that concerns the future of Labcoin but I figure sometimes just showing up is a good thing.

Me and Sam have been in close contact today and we are evaluating marketplaces for listing. So far we are looking at any possibilities including havelock (that already have a pass through listed), Bitfunder and even 796 (a Hong Kong based exchange), as well as running the shares as "direct shares" as per the ASICMINER model.

We are aware that the up coming closure of BTCT is a major event and besides hash rate increase this is something that we are working on finding the best possible solution to.

As the process matures we will post more information and likely ask for share holder input on listing place etc. we are however very confident that Burnside has records of share holders and holding as we will be making a decision on a new marketplace well in time before the final closure of BTCT.co.

The last payout interval is 5 hours (UTC 18:17 - UTC 23:07). Now is 3 hours after the last payment (UTC 2:12). It seems the hashing rate has decreased a lot. Now it's less than 250GH. What happened? There's no daily adding, but daily decreasing?

Welcome to Labcoin.

You better sell your shares. Labcoin is winding down and we all know what that means...FUDFUDFUD

I think the price is low enough, FUD is not so meaningful now. Smiley

Bitfunder has the most traffic and volume, if you want your shares to be worth less then list somewhere else.

Bitfunder has the most traffic and volume, if you want your shares to be worth less then list somewhere else.

This is the main reason to list on Bitfunder.  The share value will be higher there due to greater liquidity.

It's worth whatever amount of time and effort they need to put into it.  The effort will pay itself back for them many, many times over.

They were there before LC dropped off the list. I can't say they're not related, but they were there.

Even if it was LC mining, it's not reflected in the mining wallet.

TestTeam is listed under top all time shares found.  It can't be Labcoin. Sad

@KCBitcoin if i was going to speculate on secret cover names i would go with "0 China BTC". I don't remember seeing them, they have a slightly higher hash-rate, and appear to be new-ish in terms of not being listed on all time most shares found.

In the spirit of wild speculation.

There's no reason for them to change mining address in their testing, since the address was posted exactly for us to monitor the hashing rate.
