I don't know why you put so much effort to persuade us that labcoin is hashing and everything will go fine. If you are so sure, why don't you simply keep quiet and buy cheap shares?

His assertion was challenged. He is defending his claim, and doing a damn good job. Those that disagree have been shifted to the weaker position, for sure.

Maybe he is right (I'm not really sure), but if it is so, why don't let people think labcoin is not hashing, so he can buy at lower price? And when the evidence will be shown just come back and saying "I told you it"?

I'm not trying to persuade anyone of anything, I've made it clear it could be someone unrelated to labcoin pointing their BTCGuild account at labcoin's address.

I'm just explaining how the math works because apparently some people around here don't understand the whole "numbers" thing think mathematics is a "lie".

0.15/h comes out to 830Gh/s, which is their current team rate.

I should be more clear, 740 is their team rate. If they leave it on manual there will be gaps every once in a while (theoretically about once every 7 hours, I think).

If there had been a 0 payment at 18:07, the four-payment sliding window would be 981.6594931
Gh/s
Not "~850"

the average of those 4 payments (including the 0 payment) is just under .15/h.

you're right, I should have done the math myself.  Instead, I just used your figure:

0.15/h comes out to 830Gh/s

regardless, the trend is towards 0.15/h

Chill out, dont worry. Looks like swede is going to help em move to another security exchange. not sure on time frame (its labcoin, lets face it eh lol). until then shares will be paid direct from company. Could be a bit sketchy on times, hence why people are dumping.

Dumping is not a good idea, unless you've had enough lol.

There wasn't actually a zero payment, it was a hypothetical you posited in one comment. Theoretically there could have been a payment of 0.00001 or something like that.  But there wasn't.

Four period payment window means an average of the hashrate per unit of time over the last four payments. Sometimes that's less that an hour, sometimes it's more.

The longest gap was 21 hours - between 9/19/2013 17:17 and 9/20/2013 14:17, during which time they averaged 140Ghs, and the sliding window was 188Gh/s. (And the one before that was 10 hours)

Most of the early payments weren't every hour.

Dumping is not a good idea, unless you've had enough lol.

Here:

All btct shares will be converted to direct shares as soon as we receive official communication from Ethan Burnside before 31 October.
Dividends will be paid regularly until the btct platform is available.
For what concerns the hashrate, as soon as we reach stability with another batch, we will merge it on btcguild, be patient.
We will also evaluate listing again on another exchange.

UPDATE:

I just woke up to the information that BTCT.CO is "winding down" (Shutting down, I haven't even had time to read the full release or catch up on the information thread).

Burnside has previously informed the team (at listing) that complete ownership registry is kept up-to-date (as per previous discussions reg. direct shares), and while this obviously is something no one was expecting I expect all shares to be accounted for.

As to alternate listing, direct share conversion and other alternatives for share holders i currently have not had time to consider this yet but of course we will start working ASAP on a solution.

So quick question guys (from a noob).  IF, (when?) dividends are paid.. Is the mining amount divided by 10 million if not - how do we tell how many shares it's divided by?

[edit] BTCT says there are 10 mil outstanding.. But it also says 10 mil issued.[/edit]

Quote

The dividends paid will consist of between 70-80% all profits while 20-30% of profits will be held as a reinvestment fund for development, marketing and manufacturing. ALL share holders have the right to an equal share of dividends directly based on their ownerhsip.
so div/share = mining profit x 70-80% / 10,000,000
