1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it

ETH is the best investment beside bitcoin it'll and 2018 are gonna be the ETH year i think cause bitcoin is too high right now. if you really love ETH and want some profit sell them in high price like $1.4k but not all of them and if the price go down you can buy that again with a cheaper priceand your asset will increase

I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking  it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut  instincts was for it.

Did not want to loose the only ether as i lost my Previous eth in Confido scam. Please advise.

Too much holding on to bitcoin or ethereum will just make you lose a lot of opportunity on investing on good ICO or altcoins. There's a lot of altcoin out there that would give you much profit compared than holding bitcoin or ethereum.

hold on to it - eth is a good long term investment

ETH is really a very good long term investment and unless you feel you are investing in the right alt, then there is no point letting some of it go. It is an interesting project and it will keep doing well in the market. So, at least that is one assurance of seeing it testing different level of ATHs. This however does not mean that investing in other alts won't be a good one, but you have to understand your area of investment.

Up to last 15 months, if you go for a study then you can easily find eth remains as one of good investment opportunity closer to how bitcoin is doing. So, holding and buying some more eth may make any person to richer in short period of time itself.

If alt is not in your long term portfolio then selling them into bitcoins and holding bitcoins for longer duration also must be one of the greatest decisions in my opinion.

Etherium is very profitable type of coins, it depends upon the holder if you want to alter your coins to another the important thing is you earn from it, I won't stop anyone to took on investment. Do things as long as you want, make more profits.

If you dont have time to trade  and you have other works I would say you better hold your 1 eth. so you dont need to pay for charges of buying and selling alt coins. Especially now that demand of eth is growing so this coin would have a long way to go.

In my opinion, you should hold it. Etherium has very great potential and it would ve better to keep as its value is increasing very rapidly. You can also however split it and use half of its amount to invest on other altcoins.

I think there is a good chance Ethereum will be $3000 on March of 2018.
Even though the price of Ethereum has already appreciated significantly in 2017, there is still significant upside from current levels.
Rather than focusing on the price for now, So If you want to earn more money, you should keep for long time as possible.

You can sell your ETH and buy in some alts. The more alts you buy in the more money you can get. If you want to be more safe, you can have both, 40% ETH and 60% alts.

Why not hold half of your total eth , and the rest to invest in other altcoin?

I would suggest to split your 1 ethereum, buy 2 or more coin which is better to hold for long period of time like ethereum and take the advantage for the current value of ethereum. You should need to be wise investing your money to increase your profit.

If you only have 1 ETH, I think it would be a good idea to keep half the eth and spend 0.5 on a promising alt you find. maybe then you can grow your ether to 2 ether or something, and repeat.

If u are a stable man,and the return ratio u ask is not too high,
u shold choose hold your 1ETH, u can reach your goal easily!
But u ask several times return ,u should buy some altercoins,because

Ehtereum has been stable and mostly on the rise/increase in value. However, I will advise that you divide into two and invest half in altcoins that by research has good future. You can hold the other half because ethereum is not going down soon

I would suggest to you to just keep on holding that but i think it's also not that bad to make a gamble to invest into other ICO's, it's up to you on which you choose, just be careful of scams. Make your research or ask someone you trust about good ICO's, highly recommend a friend of yours if they know things in cryptocurrency.

I would still hold the etherium. I think given the news backdrop and the positive news on the market he'll grow. Patience is virtue. Good luck in the trade.

I would advise you to save 50% of the ETH funds you have, because there is a chance that the current price of ETH will continue to rise , and the rest can be invested in other types of coins, but you need to be careful in choosing investments, and read the value of the market price carefully, so you do not lose

I think better to buy altcoin, it can bring you one a lot of more monetary finance than one ETH, there is altcoina such as BitClave, Voise which also don't cost 1 dollar, but the perspective is, I also placed emphasis on them.
