I would hold on ETH now. The correction is over now and Ethereum is going to recover faster than most coins.
Totally agree, especially since he's expected to do big updates. So I think it will take off better and faster than all other coins. And then you can make a good portfolio of other coins. |

Well yes it is more profitable to invest in the alt coins of value less than a dollar , because you can hold many of them and even if they touch a dollar milestone than you would earn a huge profit instead of keeping a big coin well eth also had a good profit nowadays as it suddenly increased to 1400$ from 600% means profit more than 50% well you just hodl what you can avail in good amount whether it is eth or some alt coin which is below dollar
I will suggest you don’t think about buying low price Altcoin. You will have to wait for a long time to earn some money, while Ethereum is the second biggest crypto in the world and it will give you more profit in less time. So keep your 1 ETH in your wallet and wait for some more time. In the future the price will grow more and 1 ETH will be enough for your huge profit. If you sell it you may not be able to buy it again. |

I invested all of mine BTC and ETH to altcoins (XVG/TRX/SC/DOGE/BCN/XLM/ADA) @ November 2017.
target some bright future coins who can give you 5x to 10x easily within a year.
If you want to split your 1 Ethereum you should buy some cheaper Altcoin like ripple, Dogecoin etc. for short term. The price is although very slow speed but I am sure that you will make some money in the near future. But I want to tell you that Ethereum is far better than such low price Altcoin because the profit ratio of Ethereum is very good and the price is also growing. You can make more with 1 ETH. |

I think you should hold half of it, and you should buy altcoins for another half. Do some research and chose 3-4 altcoins and buy it, it can be profitable and less risky.

There so many posts here telling you what coins to buy which is fine but I think you have heard enough examples.
Now you just need to figure out how to distribute that ETH. Maybe keep half and take the other half and invest it various altcoins?
Mabe rent a miner on miningrigrentals.

Now the ETH grows better than the rest of the coin from the TOP-20. Therefore, I would prefer to keep this coin and not buy other altcoins. Now ETH is very reliable.

It depends what you want. Ethereum market cap is so high that it simply just can't go much higher fast, so if you keep it, its long-term investment - for at least a year. On the other hand, if you buy lower cap coins with it and ICOs, you can make some nice short-term and mid-term profits.

If you want to take a risk you should buy a decent low marketcap altcoin with it . It is much easier to go 10x with that , because for a 10x in ethereum there has to happen a lot. But ethereum is a safer bet long term.

In my opinion you should Keep half of your money as BTC or Eth. Use other half to invest on potential altcoins or for ICO s.
However investing on altcoins is very risky than holding Eth or BTC.
Because new altcoins are very versatile unlike BTC or ETH wich definetly have future.

It's a risk but it depends on how quickly you want your profits. If you need a quick return and high profits then you need to gamble on low market cap altcoins, but you never really know with these as they can just dump the next day. Ethereum is a lower risk slow gainer, you won't lose but have to wait a long time for big profits
