this is only temporary bro ,, i say that your statement is nonsense. I still believe that the bitcoin and other altcoins will grow and develop well again. I have analyzed and studied the development of bitcoin.
Why you said that the op is nonsense? I also believe that bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will not die so easy. But can look for the question, he said " if " the price of bitcoin crash and never going up again. I think it makes sense the altcoin will die too if bitcoin die. But the problem of the question is bitcoin yet strong and will not die. |

Hello!
With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.
I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.
Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?
I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.
In the world of cryptocurrency no words are impossible, everything you talk about can happen, because everything related to the world of cryptocurency is very likely to happen .. Yes, nothing will be exist forever so we have to manage everything as far as we can do. Now we need to earn money since the cryptocurrency someday can be dead or can be exist. |

altcoin is appreciated through bitcoin i think its going to be very difficult if like altcoin without the price of bitcoin.
The beginning of altcoin wothout bitcoin would be very hard. I believe it. It might crash for longer time that we can not predict. When the time go on, we will know that altcoin can survive without bitcoin. Bitcoin is not the only one choice of cryptocurrency. But one question, where will bitcoin goes? Hell? I dont think bitcoin will die. |

Nothing is impossible, however it is highly unlikely Bitcoin would go away and at this point in my opinion that will only happen if there is a suitable replacement for it on the crypto market.

You are wrong in the fact that some coins do not depend on bitcoin, and the most important advantage of a coin will be this quality in the future. After all, bitcoin is not eternal, and there are a lot of altcoins and I hope that the most reliable and promising will survive. |

Temporary for what? even ethereum can be considered as the main competitor to the bitcoin. Bitcoin is the same with altcoin. What will be happening if satoshi give ethereum name to the bitcoin and not bitcoin? Altcoin is improvement version of bitcoin protocol which majority of them already did a lot of improvement from the bitcoin protocol to create such new protocol that was even better than bitcoin. |

more topic has been tackled concerning this matter,and if you didnt know theres thread that asking about what of bitcoins gone,what will happen to altcoin.and has been answered for thousand time that altcoin can live because other coin has theyre own platform and can stand without bitcoin although i am pretty sure this wont happen forever |

If you actually take note of the crypto-currencies trading market chart, you would notice every times when bitcoin price starts to drop, I could say at least 90% of the altcoins in the market would get into the red zone too, there would only be a few altcoins that stands to rise whenever bitcoin values starts to drop.

In my opinion BTC will only crash if there will be no demand on the market. As we all know BTC is very in demand now so it'll take more years for us to see if BTC will really crash. For now let's not think about BTC crashing because we've invested so much in crypto (unless you did not) and I am not ready yet about turning my investment to zero soon  |

Bitcoin is the basis of cryptocurrencies. However, altcoins are developing quite well and I do not think that they are only temporary coins. Maybe not all will survive, but the best for sure. |

First of all, I don't think altcoins will exist without bitcoin. But it doesn't mean that if bitcoin crashes, the alts will never get back on track again. All the crash that happens are just temporary and the coins will be back on green days again.

these are two things is either, altcoin supersedes bitcoin or bitcoin supersedes altcoins. whatever an individual will say now is bascially speculation based on the previous trend in the crypto world.

The cryptocurrency still has a long way to be recognized in the world. The most adverted coin is BTC many holders are people who bought this coin on the wave of hype. They don't understand the market and sell their BTC immediately when the price is dropping. So, for now, as long as cryptomarket doesn't have trust and understanding from common people , all other alts are very deeply connected with BTC. When the market will be more developed connection will be not so dense.

Heard the theory that Alts prices are related to the momentum of change in BTC price. When BTC price goes up or down with great momentum, Alts prices drop. When BTC price moves sideways / stagnates, Alts tend to go up.
