Future of altcoins without Bitcoin

I think that will be fine, some altcoins that use smart contract ERC-20 are not dependent on bitcoin, and the altcoin will survive in the absence of bitcoin

That is true and what is more coins like eth has its own technology which is unique and it could just live without bitcoin for me. That would be interesting to see market without the "king".

Future of altcoin without Bitcoin does not look so bad and in my opinion the demand for Altcoin in the absence of Bitcoin will further rise because the world has started using the crypto for daily trading and for instant transaction. Top companies across Europe accept crypto and have to shift to Altcoin in the absence of Bitcoin. Furthermore, the profitability in case of altcoin is also a factor that will rise the demand for alt.

Good question! Nobody can predict the exact future. We are investing in BTC because we are confident that it has potential to grow and maintain good value. Who knows if war takes place and infra structures go broken? We can not imagine what the effect will be like.

The future of Alts is bright as long as it is legit and the project is solid. That is regardless bitcoin is around or not. I'm sure many Alts will also drop if it is not solid. And there are many alts as will that will survive and even thrive.

I think there is a link between the price condition between Bitcoin and Altcoin.
I often see the phenomenon when the price of Bitcoin rises then the value of Altcoin also rises while the value of Bitcoin price falls then the value of Altcoin price will also decrease.
I think Bitcoin and Altcoin will not crash. This is because very many are interested in Cryptocurrency, therefore, Bitcoin and Altcoin will never fall because there are millions of people who are fighting for Crypto to remain and evolve into the future.

Yeah not all altcoin depends on the bitcoin market, some altcoin does have its own market against the dollar or other currency but you should know that the effect of bitcoin is great for all altcoin dude? so when bitcoin undergoes collapse of course almost all coins will experience the same effect

In real world if bitcoin crash there will have a massive decline of price in the market. Probably it will last a couple of months but it can recover again. The market will recover because still altcoins are there circulating in the market. There should have more changes to deal the business crypto.

IMO blockchain tech is now at the state of a being mature enough to avoid such situation. BTC has a great fundamental value for this game-changing technology, being a flagman of crypto, and it won't crash that easily.

Cryptoworld would probably missed the absence of bitcoin and would likely not be the same again. A digital currency would take over bitcoin's place and i assume that ETH will be the next Bitcoin since then. With its popularity and bragging rights as far as market cap is concerned over the rest of the alt coins, there's no wonder that Eth is legit enough to keep the crypto business going.

With the recent decrease in value of Bitcoin, the value of almost all the altcoins dropped too.
Now BTC is rising again and so are the altcoins.

I am thinking that if Bitcoin ever crashes, I mean completely drops to a very low value and when doesn't increase anymore.
Then the altcoins are going to drop too and won't have a high value anymore too, which means the cryptocurrency world will die.

Is my statement just nonsense or can it be correct?

I'm curious of what you all think will happen to the altcoins if BTC crashes for real.

The future of Altcoin without Bitcoin I thought would be fine. Bitcoin is indeed the first coin but it does not mean that when Bitcoin dies, Altcoin will also die. When Bitcoin cannot survive, Altcoin will be competing to be the best coin to replace Bitcoin. This is all in my mind.

yeah definitely. And as was said above a lot of coins have own individual and at the same time great technologies. Me myself don't really like bitcoin as its transactions are high, and you can't use it as the mean of payment. I wait for that time you can use crypto for small transactions like 60 cents for a sandwich

Can not imagine what if altcoin without Bitcoin, like a chicken without a mother. But in my opinion all will be back setabil, altcoin and Bitcoin will always coexist until later in the future.

I think it is impossible, many people know bitcoin more than all cryptocurrency, without bitcoin there may be no development of cryptocurrency. imagine if bitcoin die, we know how big bitcoin influence to market of altcoin, if bitcoin price drop all crypto will also experience the same thing. imagine if bitcoin die, of course crypto market will be destroyed because bitcoin is a picture for whole crypto..

If im not mistaken ETH is an altcoin that doesnt rely on bitcoin's value and current standing. The same goes for other altcoins, though its price isnt that much of a grand compared to bitcoin. Now, what you have said isnt far from happening.. maybe in the next 15 to 20 years bitcoin will slowly fade out of its existence and with that, there's a chance that ETH will take the opportunity of bitcoin's downfall considering that it is the 2nd most valuable coin in the market. Sure, some altcoins wouldnt survive the fall but there are those that will still rise to the occasion

Sooner or later alts should get their self path.Btc is showing worse and worse.And its same expensive as before,while alts are trying to make cheaper and better solutions.So dont see any reasons to stick with btc 4ever
