I have lost lots of money on coinex, and after a few months I see that no progress has been made.
I am ready to offer a 10 btc bounty on this guy (Vitaliy Sorokin). Hope other people will join me, if we can make it high enough maybe somebody serious will get interested and will be able to track down and eliminate this scumbag from the face of the earth.

That's not the way to get your money back. However my 2 cents are this:

If you want something to get done properly you have to do it yourself.
You can't trust others easily cause they might give you away to the authorities.
You might lose your money trying to hire a killer or you might get picked up by the authorities.
Maybe get help to track him down, then eliminate him yourself, Killing people is way easier than people think.
Get a small amount of a highly radioactive metal, dissolve it in a solution, and inject it into the victim.
Get a strong alpha emitter, it's going to be harmless to carry but when injected, deadly and nearly untraceable.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

Wouldn't for 10 btc you could hire a proper hacker to clean house to find your few there.

Its probably cheaper to just mark it as a loss if you've got another 10 to  go after him.

It's not about getting anyone's money back, because that is not ever going to happen. No one is going to get a claim filing notice like we all got from the Tokyo District Court Civil 20th Division for MtGox last week.

Erundook, as usual, wanted to do things his way, not the right way. Being this was an unregistered private endeavor, and that the Soviet Union isn't too keen on Crypto either; don't expect action from any Soviet law enforcement or regulatory agency about this.

At this point, revenge is the only thing of meaning anyone can get. There is a chance he simply ran off, as he tried to do initially, and is hiding somewhere. But the bigger fear is that the Mafia already got to him (which we will never know about unless a body turns up), so the rest of us will be sadly denied the satisfaction of his demise.

He's shown himself to be what he is; an immature, ignorant, rude, self centered, arrogant, lying, thieving piece of garbage. Erundook needs to get f--ked sideways with a dozen red hot pokers before being given 10,000 paper cuts and thrown into a vat of lemon juice and left to drown. Some might say that spending the rest of his life as a prison bitch would be fitting, but he'd probably learn to enjoy that over time, so no to that.

@Artlover

I agree, I liked coinex earlier on but they did lie once, but being an idiot I still left some stuff on their exchange.

Lost it all.

I'm lucky I didn't have any BTC in there at the very least. This was a very expensive lesson.

You can actually still access it using a simple trick.
If you're using Windows, simply open up c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file in your notepad and add the following line at the end of the file, save and you're done:

190.93.241.217 coinex.pw

In case the file cannot be saved after modification, you need to open notepad as administrator.

Anybody knows anything about the status? Owners given up or...?

Great, people who know what they're doing can access it.

Now new victims won't blunder into the site and deposit funds, as has been happening for months.  No more victims of Coinex, please.

thanks for posting that IP

i just hope that they put all the wallets back online so we can withdraw the remaining balances!

It's been over 3 months for me! I'm checking a couple of times a week, without luck  Angry

CoinEx has taken all of your coins and it is highly unlikely that you will ever get them back.

The Uno community identified and tracked the Coinex Uno wallet (all coins were stored in a single large wallet at Coinex). The UNO was transferred from Coinex to a wallet at Cryptsy **after** the alleged "hack" was announced.  About 6-7000 Uno was dumped on Cryptsy's market, keeping the price of Uno artificially low.  Here is more about what we found.

I can only assume other coins on CoinEx experienced the same fate.

Sorry but your coins on CoinEx are long gone.

I called this when it was happening, but nobody fucking listened to me... ASSHOLE SOLD MY UNO! AND KEPT MY ZEIT DUMPED THAT SHIT TOO FUCKERS!   2 BTC thanks to these fuckwits FUCK U COINEX !
