I have been able to find 2 working exchanges that I didn't know exist yet, because of them doing what any business person would have done by taking advantage of a prime time to highlight how they work their end better. I have read more updates about their 2 sites in the last 24 hours of their runtime, then I have in the past week of CoinEx's downtime. At this time I'd personally prefer to read people trying to present their sites and what integrity they attempt to bring to it, rather than some 2 cent lie from Erundook.

This thread is about coinex and I do not give a shit about you looking for new exchange or vultures preying for new clients.

The original post that our replies refer to was about CoinEx too, or did you not take the time to read it? He was asking for transparancy just like everyone else. Yes he used his own site as an example, and how he handles similar situations... At this point, Erundook needs those examples, because he isn't showing me shit yet!!!

now the REALLY intersting question is this

Coinex was for altcoins mostly right?

so will all balances in all coins be refunded? what if the hacker sold the altcoins for a dirt cheap price (emptying the orderbook to the bottom) to withdraw btc, will then only those btc be refunded?

In that case you could have  a 90% loss even with the refund...I wonder if Erundook has a snapshot of the database shortly before the attack?

You seriously don't believe he's going to give your coins back do you? Erunkook is sitting back laughing at all the gullible ones here as he toys with you all every couple days for another round of laughs. If he was serious about business, or his posts, he would take the time to read some and give details as everyone has been requesting Shouting for. He was still selling BTC on Localbitcoins as of his 'second downtime update'. If he was going to pay us all back, he would have stopped those sales on day one. He deleted that account as well within the last two days. I am assuming either he sold all the coins, or he created another account to continue selling them. Either way, there is no honorable actions that have been displayed by him....NOT ONE! All I see is shady moves behind the scenes. The evidence is scattered through this thread.

For those that still do have faith in Erundook.... I really do hope I am wrong for your sake, But I can no longer hold faith in a ghost!

This isn't the first time coinEX has gone down for weeks at a time.  Just give him some time to sort everything out.  If he doesn't come thru by then, it's already too late anyway.  I've learned my lesson regardless, and if I do ever see it again, I will only be moving coins when I'm selling.  That will leave less liability on Erundook anyway.  If he really was hacked, should be finding out who did it, and making sure your site can't be hacked beyond a shadow of a doubt.   It has a nice interface, but I always knew the security was lacking...  I don't trust anybody though, can never tell anymore when somebody is lying to my face or not.  The proof is in the actions, not your words.

I could do a better job than Erundook. haha flame or not, It takes pretty much all your devoted attention and time to run a site where you are responsible for peoples money.  There should be more transparency and trust.   Happenings like this could make or break you, so why even let it happen to begin with?   Sure he was probably making money, but that should give him more reason to pay attention to his customers and be weary of hackers.

I don't even want to think about alt coins at this point.  People like Erundook just give it a bad name.  Made some money here, gave me hopes, but then to lose it all before I can get my shit secure... GG.   Bunch of amateurs running these things.

BTC-e looks like it might be one of the few legit exchanges.  I would have never put a fucking cent on coinEX if I knew it was based in costa rica... ugh what I get for not doing my research.

the way i read the latest update is: we will be refunded meaning that we will get all money owing to us, because the site is closing down. if the site was not closing down then the update would have stated that all balances will be restored! adim used 'refunded' not 'restored', there is a big difference in the words.
we have to wait some time to be refunded, is this because it will take some time to sell the hardware and get the money?
to me it sounds that way!

The IPO flag is set, i.e. no trading of public shares. Only CoinEx can sell shares during the IPO.

i made a ZET withdrawal in the amount of 260511.1995529 before the site went down and it is not btc and my balance went to zero and i never received it and there was no tx id

i contacted support and still no reply that was 10 days ago

i hope that i will receive my coins soon.
