I had a few thousand of each SHA coin on CoinEx, no BTC though. The whole bounty wasn't worth more then $50. I really feel sorry for the guys/gals that depended on the site for their day trading. Fingers crossed we all get our coins back, or the equivalent in BTC. Good luck guys, I have faith in CoinEx.
People like you just make it worse.... you enable them to fool everyone because you make them think we are all STUPID! Even if they stole $1 from me I would still be pissed as hell. It's the principle. Give anybody the opportunity, and they will most likely stab you in the back and run.

Oh yea... and I know this has happened before, and why I knew it would happen again. Maybe they just got away with it before without anybody noticing. Maybe now they are too scared to put it up because it will be under a lot of scrutiny.
Can bitch about posting FUD all you want, but you bring it upon yourself with how you are dealing with the situation. Just makes it look like you are in on it. Most people may be stupid and ignorant, but I am not. I am nice, until you fuck with me!
You would make more in the long run maintaining a site that has integrity and doesn't go down for a month every few months.....

Will you fucking stop spamming in this thread? Get fucking lost from here along with your shitty advertising.
I have been able to find 2 working exchanges that I didn't know exist yet, because of them doing what any business person would have done by taking advantage of a prime time to highlight how they work their end better. I have read more updates about their 2 sites in the last 24 hours of their runtime, then I have in the past week of CoinEx's downtime. At this time I'd personally prefer to read people trying to present their sites and what integrity they attempt to bring to it, rather than some 2 cent lie from Erundook.

GG. Bunch of amateurs running these things. BTC-e looks like it might be one of the few legit exchanges. I would have never put a fucking cent on coinEX if I knew it was based in costa rica... ugh what I get for not doing my research.

This thread is about coinex and I do not give a shit about you looking for new exchange or vultures preying for new clients. Keep it on fucking topic. This thread is not about exchanges but about one particular so stop creating diversions and hijacking thread.

Also, think of all the people that have their miners on auto-pilot. They are either mining at a pool, having it automatically sent to coinEX to then sell, while not even realizing what has happened yet. There are also people who might have their miners set to coinex pools. Some people could sit on it for months and not even realize the site is down, while coinEX is still accepting coins. What even happens to those coins? Do they just disappear and vanish? This whole scenario is just shady as hell... The connection to the site still works. I know he could have it up and running, and at least disable the trading so we can get on our accounts and see what is missing. Then you have constant support to make things right. Regardless if it was hacked or not, its obvious the people either are ignorant as hell, or they just don't give a shit (which makes it look like a big scam).

How? When? With what funds? Exactly. I'm not posting this as an alternate exchange owner, I'm posting this as someone who had coins on CoinEx as well. If your wallet server was emptied, and knowing what kind of coin you likely held, how do you propose to refund everyone? We had two blog posts up within hours with intricate details, and our plan to restore everything. You have... "refunds next week"?

This isn't the first time coinEX has gone down for weeks at a time. Just give him some time to sort everything out. If he doesn't come thru by then, it's already too late anyway. I've learned my lesson regardless, and if I do ever see it again, I will only be moving coins when I'm selling. That will leave less liability on Erundook anyway. If he really was hacked, should be finding out who did it, and making sure your site can't be hacked beyond a shadow of a doubt. It has a nice interface, but I always knew the security was lacking... I don't trust anybody though, can never tell anymore when somebody is lying to my face or not. The proof is in the actions, not your words.

Bad security or good security is not a matter of location in the internet age. Lets see. Who gets refunds first. GOX customers or COINEX customers.

"Had a good interface"
Hasn't anybody ever been on any of even the low end brokerage firms trading apps? They will make these look like a 5 yr old wrote it! We have the right to expect better than this level of development. For weeks when I started to use this site everytime I would place an order it would show up twice in the UI... crossed order books, sorry but that isn't just a UI display issue, it's more likely the order matching engine isn't processing the data fast enough and so, you get a partially processed set of data sent to the UI. I was able to go directly to a logged in page, without logging in... and it doesn't end... so I don't want to hear how wonderful any of the sights are that are out there right let alone this one!
I want' honest open answers with DETAILS!!!!! And not this vague BS over and over again... Didn't we hear that LAST week?

now the REALLY intersting question is this
Coinex was for altcoins mostly right?
so will all balances in all coins be refunded? what if the hacker sold the altcoins for a dirt cheap price (emptying the orderbook to the bottom) to withdraw btc, will then only those btc be refunded?
In that case you could have a 90% loss even with the refund...I wonder if Erundook has a snapshot of the database shortly before the attack?

Are you not the one who has been the worst poster and FUD'er during this entire week ? All you've done is flaming the guy and suddenly you change your face. Great going there kiddo, get lost. I would never do business with you.
