Still trusting Coinex to fix this.
How are they supposed to fix it now? They've still got the domain name to sell. And the software is probably worth something too.

I doubt the domain will be able to be sold for another exchange (just for its value as a domain, instead), but the software is indeed valuable and, if the new owner changed the "template" of the site, CoinEX's reputation should not do them much harm (it won't be so easy to know it's using the same software). They could also license it, and sell multiple copies. Are they still around, though? Last Active: April 24, 2014, 02:01:54 PM

Did anyone received compensation for shares purchased prior changes to IPO? 2 weeks will pass in few hours and I so far did not received anything, not a word from either coinex or cryptoshares, I still do have old shares on my account there. Any thoughts about how they will do it, or what they will do if anything.
2 weeks compensation deadline passed without compensation. Did anyone received one? Nope. Still waiting. Cant wait to see coinex back on their feet. I wanna mine here again, we need mining! It would only help with building back up funds from transactions.
I haven't checked, is mining down? Mining hasn't been working right for over a week. Pools are up, but blocks aren't being found or credited. Though it seems like DEM started working today.

Are we going to get something apart from occasional monthly outbursts of anger and vague promises of something in distant future? I was not refunded original share purchase and my UNO withdrawal is still in queue.

If you can convert them to litecoins or bitcoins, maybe you can probably still withdraw them. Today I was able to withdraw only litecoins everything else was giving me an error. I'm tired of CoinEX and their problems so I converted everything to LTC and then withdraw all. Most of the coins can't withdraw (giving some error), others are going in a black hole after withdraw, and never arrive in wallet or on blockchain.

Yeah I have confirmed doge deposits which at the time I didn't know coinEX was down. The dogechain says they're delivered but not redeemed. This was a week ago. . . All I have to say is bad form man. The site should have been completely on hold when the problems started. There wasn't even a notice on the page, and there still isn't. Why is the site still online, letting people make the same mistakes unknowingly? Give the coins back to these people, pack up, and shut down, you don't know how to do business.

I can't convert my coins to ltc/btc or I'll lose a lot... Also I don't want to convert them, I just bought those coins and been trying to send them to my wallet for over a week. It sucks, I don't mind waiting for a bit but then again how long is that? It sucks even more that those coins are PoS and I'm losing on that also Anyways thanks for the reply, I hope to hear from CoinEX soon!

My concern is that they continue to accept funds.
Deposits should be turned off. Any other action is irresponsible.

The counter argument is that they will repay from trading fees, and they need to have money in accounts to generate those fees. I do think they should have made a category of "unavailable funds" and put half of everyone's accounts into that category, to prevent the runners from harming the believers.

The counter argument is that they will repay from trading fees, and they need to have money in accounts to generate those fees. The counter-counter argument is that trading is sparse at best. Mostly, everyone is trying to be a runner. I do think they should have made a category of "unavailable funds" and put half of everyone's accounts into that category, to prevent the runners from harming the believers. There is a lot of things he could have did different, and could be doing differently now. Don't count it any of it happening. He's a kid who doesn't have a solid handle on things and is in over his head. When Vircurex was hacked, they presented a detailed plan of what was going to happen, which included frozen funds, and they are doing well because of it. But erundook has absolutely horrible public relations/customer service skills, which is WHY many are upset and spreading FUD. That all he ever does is makes a quick post now and again expressing his being upset at the customer base for doing this and telling everyone nothing more than he's working on it is not winning him any friends or trust. But sadly, he honestly believes that is appropriate. Sorry, but if he has the time to come here and criticize his customers, he has the time answer his customers questions to prevent the FUD to begin with.

CoinEX is almost a complete scam by now. They don't give any explanation about anything. They don't have user support anymore. Just look at the trading volume of DOGE/BTC... 0.07 BTC. CoinEX is already dead and soon they will just run away, without any explanation.

Coinex has hacked for more than 2 months. Why the site is still live? Why more people lose their coins? Why didn't any announcement to people stop trading and doing anything with coinex??? lost much waste time

Biggest scam ever.
I withdrew my remaining 0.4btc today just for the fuck of it, since I know the site is basically all fake numbers and the devs have packed up and left with our money. Says 'in queue.'
Our coins are long gone. There was no 'hack.'
The only 'hack' was eurndook and his butt-buddy captain future withdrawing our coins and cashing out so they could live comfortably with their millions.
When will the alt community ever wake up? These scammers have the easiest job in the world, and the community just seems to make it that much easier by continuing to defend these thieves and give them more business. There's a seeming unending supply of people with money, but the crypto currency world tends to lack one giant thing: common sense.
