For me high valued coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash LiteCoin and other expensive coins today are for short-term investment like if you want to start to learn trading. Top coins will offer high profits in a minimum of time if you're lucky but in terms of long-term investments, low priced coins will soon priced a hundred bucks after a couple of years or a decade so in the future your investments today will be the best and ultimate decision you ever made.

Long term is the one that you will hold on years or so but you can get profit by doing nothingg and just checking for it but in the short term you need to check it everytime and it can also called daily trading for short term so you can gain a lot of profits

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

Well, I prefer the short term gain but a lot of gain. Sometimes, holding coins for short term is good becaus ethe value would drops as time goes by. There are also many coins that worth the keep because as time runs, their value keep on increasing.

I invest only for a long term.  This is a simpler option than to hold for a short term.  The main thing to invest in potential coins.

Short term investing is a gambling. Instead of trying to predict short term market prices or events, I advice you to focus on Fundamental strength of coin, its future prospects, its competitive advantage.

If you don't think about the money earnings now then you go to the long term. Long term is you need a planning , for what reason you take the long term and why you hold it in long time. Also you must holf risk in the long term because you don knoe if your list on your portfolio, the others might gone. For the short term it is only matter at the earnings. So  i go to long term because it can have a big profit somefay if you come sure to your portfolio

The long run is less risky, re-secured with big capital gains. Short term is more risky, the risk you will lose your principle investment, Less profit.Trading is better.not to mean short term like 5 minutes. Just pumping and wasting time.

How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?

I have my coins which is for short term and long term investment. For long term it is bitcoin and ethereum and mostly those altcoins that I earned from bounties are for short term but not all, it depends also the the project and thw progress. Both long term and short term investment have andvantages like for example for long term in bitcoin if you are saving your bitcoin since before you ear big now . Short term alts sometimes they are valuable when it first listed in exchanges and after a year they don't have value. So I think it is better to chose which on is for short term and which one also is for long term.

Both of them are good, but they will be more profitable in the long run. The short-term risk is greater, and it takes a bit of time so i  prefer the long term

Long-term and short-term equally have advantages and disadvantages of each. And now I start to love long-term and almost 80% of my portfolio for the long term. and only 20% for the short term.
agree, every advantage is in each way like long term and short term. indeed for the long term I became a major in trading and my portfolio because it has felt a huge profit, and for the short term itself is fortunate but not as long term as possible that is the advantages and disadvantages in each run.

For me high esteemed coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XMR,  LiteCoin and other costly coins today are for here and now speculation like on the off chance that you need to begin to pick up exchanging. Top coins will offer high benefits in at least time in case you're fortunate yet in terms of long haul speculations, low evaluated coins will soon estimated a hundred bucks following two or three years or 10 years so later on your ventures today will be the best and extreme choice you at any point made.

I invest in the long term, but 15 percent of my wallet lies in tokens and coins that can fly to the moon. In order to get into a coin that can fly to the moon, you need to invest your money in a fairly large number of different coins.

this is a difficult question that can only be answered with feelings, many factors that affect the Long term and Short term, If short term takes a short time but the gain obtained increases with different long term which takes a long time but get the profit very high but also can impact a high loss if the market price is not stable

I think long term is not good because we also do not know how the development of the coin,
my advice to play short term and get profit as soon as possible Smiley

Long term and short term are good on their own ways and having both will give you more options to earn money everyday or in the future run. Let me differentiate those two to each other so you understand more on what to choose and best fit to you. First is long term holding and the best coins to start with are the major or top of the list coins in the market as of today because they have a good foundation and possibility to be part of the future currency of the world. While on the other side short term holding or other called day trading are best fit to those newly introduce coins in the market because they are easy to predict because only few people play it in the market.
