Can ETH reach BTC value ?

 I think Yes, if The Current Price of Bitcoin is 14k USD then after how many years Ethereum can Achieve it. but Not The same year and The Same Price of Bitcoin And Ethereum, it will take time to prove Ethereum itself unlike Bitcoin, More Improvement and Building it's foundation Everytime it's price rollback it uprise again double the rollback Price unlike Eth so Difficult just to tear some amount with it. Eth can Reach Btc Value But will not be the same Value of Bitcoin for Sure.

most likely it is impossible to match the current BTC value, but perhaps as time goes by it could be ETH to match the BTC score in the next 2 years or up to 3 years

In future i think? But for now it can’t be because there’s a lot things to do just to reach the bitcoin. I think altcoin needs to improve and improve every year and maybe we need more investors here.

Chances are, we do not know maybe in the future eth development is better than bitcoin and make a big jump, but my personal opinion is not possible, we know the current bitcoin value and eth value.

In longer term, ETH value can even overrun bitcoin's value. Both of this coins are created for different reasons and ETH has a lot of real world usage while bitcoin has become a store of value nowadays. ETH is widely used to create tokens to fund new businesses. Also the transactions are superfast and lot more cheaper than bitcoin which increases its acceptability to the frequent transactors.

Also if we see the market cap, ETH is holding the second position since a long time now. Which proves that ETH is widely accepted and praised by the crypto community. So I believe, ETH can certainly reach the current level of bitcoin, probably not soon but surely in long run.

It seems to me that no one crypto currency will achieve the value of bitcoin.

Not while bitcoin is still dominating the whole cryptos in the cryptoworld. Next year could not even possible for any other alternate coin to replace bitcoin. As long as bitcoin is still in the cryptoworld, it will continue its dominance.

Comparing it to bitcoin's value it can't reach for the moment but there will be time that ETH can possibly reach bitcoin's current value which is $14,000. Just like last year ETH's value is very low at $20 and now it reached $700 and is about to break $1,000 just like bitcoin's past price. But bitcoin has the most gain last year so if ETH will reach bitcoin's value that will take a lot of time.

its very hard to reach, bitcoin is leader crypto firts coin, and ethereum need long time to reach bitcoin if value bitcoin not growth again, but now if ethereum growing fast bitcoin will follow them, so many know about thats.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are two different creations. They do not focus on the same market applications or services.
Bitcoin was primarily build to handle cash transactions (and may someday even be recognized as 'real money'), while Ethereum is a complex blockchain based contract mechanism.

In my book Bitcoin is money, Ethereum is not. So market cap on Ethereum is not on their coin as much as on their blockchain solutions.

I think the BTC has more fork is not better. The ETH platform has too many tokens, which makes ETH weaker. In the future the position of the ETH will be priced by the dev team and the administration of Vitalik Buterin

very likely, it just takes a while. because I think ethereum technology is superior to bitcoin. but bitcoin is the mother of crypto currency. so now all crypto currencies are under it. but we do not know 5 or 10 years ahead. which crypto will be the master of crypto currency.

I think its possible for ETH to reach the BTC value since more and more people are supporting and investing.  ETH has the potential. but for now I can't tell but probably it can happen in the long run.

I definitely think it's possible, so many ERC20 tokens currently in Top 100 based on Market Cap.

That was so impossible to happen ethereum is also great cryptocurrency and i believe it is 2nd of the bes cryptocurrency and ethereum is the best altcoin but ethereum has still no chance to reach the bitcoin value because bitcoin is too strong and i know that the value of bitcoin is we will rise more but i think ethereum can hit $4000 by the end of 2018.

From a purely technological standpoint, ETH should have already overtaken BTC.

BTC is a dinosaur compared to some of these new alts.

ETH WILL overtake BTC's #1 spot sooner than we all think.

I personally believe in the long-term prosperity of ETH. Unlike BTC, it has more practical usage in the modern world, in terms of creating additional tokens and funding companies. Furthermore, ETH has kept its position as the second largest cryptocurrency, which speaks for its credibility among people nowadays. However, Ethereum shares some of Bitcoin's problems, such as tentative transaction speed, infrastructure, etc. Nevertheless, I do believe that one day (for sure more than 5 years from now) ETH will reach the value of BTC of even surpass it. Thus, buy now and hodl.

I doubt if the actual price will exceed that of Bitcoin but very possible for the overall market cap to exceed BTC market cap.

etheruem cant possibly beat bitcoin value but it can possibly beat if the bitcoin market crashes and the altcoin market will remain alive. i think ethereum value can rise like 5k usd if merchants accept them alot of people would also use ethereum because of it confirmation times and fees.
