The possibility for Ethereum to reach Bitcoin will surely happen sooner or later. Bitcoin has been on the market for almost ten years and it's value increased so high yet now going back to it's lower range. But for Ethereum, the thinking of it to go even higher and exceeding what bitcoin can is possible. Nowadays, it is being widely used to fund new ventures as it creates tokens. The fast and cheaper transactions are really a huge plus on it that's why people are adapting ETH in their life.

i think, Bitcoin and Ethereum are two different creations. They do not focus on the same market applications or services. Both are way apart in terms of the purpose they were created for. Bitcoin primary goal is to serve as a decentralized currency while Ethereum is meant to provide a platform for dapps and smart contracts.

Ethereum price will always be somehow affected by those ICOs and their performance. In contrast, Bitcoin price is only affected by Bitcoin itself (excluding external factors such as bans, regulations etc). As per my understanding of the market, both have their place in the cryptocurrency world and are in no way in competition with each other.

I think Ether has more potential than BTC, but it will take years I guess (although with crypto coins you never know). of course the ligning Network might give BTC a boost when it will be released.

I don't think ETH can equal BTC because the value of BTC too will keep rising just as ETH is also rising, although the current value of BTC is around $12k and I see ETH reaching and surpassing this mark in the near future.
ETH is a platform that allows for creation of thousands of other tokens and BTC is just a currency, which means the demand for ETH will always continue to rise.

I think, the price of ethereum may reach bitcoin price in a long term. Because in my sight ethereum chart is stable and have a chance to get higher. Ethereum fans are quiet a lot.

sure why not? Ethereum can reach the value of the Bitcoin or BTC but it takes time and I think Ethereum can't surpass the value of Bitcoin because if the price of Ethereum is going up so the price of Bitcoin also.

Yes it is possible. The ethereal development is very much today. But it can take up to 5 to 10 years from now. So, while the price of ethereum is cheap then we buy because the day will come as the ethereum will be the same as the price of bitcoins.

in short time no in long term yes becuase the ethereum has a potential and also there is a lot of change to do and also it has and ability to match up the price of the bitcoin for like 5 or 10 year because matching the bitcoin price is no joke

Nowadays, no one can tell if ether will follow to the bitcoin price. As of now ether value is continuously decreasing and it sad to see it happen. But hoping to increase again the value of it to more than a thousand of dollar. We all know that bitcoin is the most stable crypto currency in digital world and it is the mother of all cryptos also bitcoin now is in stable price even it is experiencing fluctuation of price value. The important now ether and bitcoin are both now strongest currencies even they are experienced decreasing  price value. The only good in ether is transferable in all token and all ICO's are using it. Like DIW the token they used are exchangeable to ether and same as the different ICO's.
