With the events of the past few days the media have had the pleasure to spit on the bitcoin again ...
Since the inception of bitcoin, nothing has ever changed in this department. Bitcoin is still some kind of emergency backup story when there is nothing else to cry about currently happening. Media will be always against bitcoin - just because BTC is against official establishment and media are owned by people who are not really keen to support BTC. If we had the support of mainstream media then BTC would already be a top global asset and the price would reach $1kk. |

Simply all the news that they are forecast was about those people who get scmamed in bitcoin. Thats why people think negative on it. Its really hard to make them believe that bitcoin was good if all the news was always talking about scam. But when they started featuring about successful people because of bitcoin maybe it will change. |

News/Media are just publishing some awareness but the major problem here is our government who are controling people mind they use media to show that bitcoin is a fraud or scam. but think of it bitcoin drop like 50% but if it goes up then we could see another all time high.

Not all media against digital currency ,there are some media who like bitcoin and they commercialize the godness done of bitcoin throughout the world,while other media become critics of bitcoin because they think its decentralized and not taxable and the government would not gain profit on it,but if they open up there mind and givens chances digital currency to spread the benefits of every country,and they become bitcoin as a legal investment,all of us will become benefited of its fruit of labor. |

This actually depends on the media itself. There are some media supporting crypto currencies and some of them is against. As you all know that market is dominantly owned by bunch of whales and each of them own some media organizations. They all control media to manage our fears to control prices. if theres only someone that willing to pay those media outlet to stop barking against crypto maybe this issue would be resolved easily..media platforms only waits for money to make their story shut and do other news ..and besides this media moves helps crypto for popularity wile they always making news about this communitu |

Even bitcoin have a thousand of good things, people always remembers the bad things of it. That's why media chose to show the negative news about bitcoin. If the news get a high rate, the more profit they will earn. That's their style of earning. |

Because drama sells newspapers...or clicks on a website. This is also the natural progression of human acceptance of a new technology. First people criticize it as a fad, then they say "well I would never need that", then they start to get curious, then they realize the want it, and finally they realize the need it. We're in the "well I would never need that" phase with a few people starting to get curious. Bitcoin's been making its epic run all year long. The mainstream media didn't care until August. And when they were reporting in August the news was all about "epic run, it's a fad, it's a bubble, bitcoin fans are foolish!" Now, in December, we're starting to see more articles about the future, the value, and the staying power of Bitcoin. It's been fun to watch! Don't worry about the mainstream media...worry about your own personal comfort level with Bitcoin. That is a good observation and it is true. For news and media, they need catchy article topics to get visitors. When the market is normal without much change, it is not good fodder for news. But if there is a sudden spike or steep fall, news article starts reporting it and general audience gets attracted to the news article. So, whatever comes in the news are more dramatized. |

Simple they are bought, the media used to be independent but now they depend greatly from the money of governments and banks and that means they are now their dogs, and they will do everything that their masters ask of them and if that means talking ill of bitcoin they will do it. |

i was speaking to a friend earlier telling him about bitcoin and he was so quick to disapprove it calling it a scam. ANd i thought to myself that this my friend has this thought because of the way the media has chose to portray BTC.
When in the long run, its got its numerous advantages. i dont blame the media sometimes... there are so many spammers out there making BTC look like a bad thing.

Media is providing the news that is paid by the mighty people which are not fully supporting the Bitcoin. Bitcoin is representing the big threat to them and their way of the living because if the full progress of the Bitcoin is achieved many powerful people that ain't connected with the Bitcoin will suffer the big loss. Media is the propaganda that is restrained by the government.

I think the reason behind this kind of media lashing against bitcoins is to manipulate the price. As we all know, the media has a lot of influence on a lot of things specially on the people. When the media blurts out that bitcoin is a scam, people will believe it specially when it comes from a reliable source. This allows a movement in the price which some wealthy whale is celebrating to. |

because the media want to try to make bitcoin prices down and give them a chance to get profit, so if there is a media that spread negative information about bitcoin then get ready to buy as much bitcoin as possible because that is the right moment when the price goes down buying bitcoin. |

The media want to earn money, just like everybody else.
In general bad news sell better than good news. And they stay longer in the mind of the people.
I have once read an article in which a scientist explained that this is some kind of evolutionary thing.
So I think what media do is to earn as much as they can. And for them that means to point out the negative sides of everything.

Because some of the media does not want people to know that you can achieve a lot of your dreams and goal this easily and i also do not believe that it could be done this easily when i started but now i know it is and i think we should all share this idea with our close friends and family members to help them achieve their goals too.

Mainstream media is ran by the government and other large companies. Bitcoin for them is a threat because it creates another platform for some people who wants to have an investments which competes with the way they market their company through stock exchanges. Government also consider bitcoin a threat to their country's economy. Media usually just want to create stories so that they will get more attention to some of the people. |

We all know that most of the government doesn't support bitcoin and consider it to be a threat to the economy of their country. I guess that is one factor why most of the news in social medias or television is negative so that people will loss interest in bitcoin and think about it negatively because they are not knowledgeable about cryptocurrency.
