because bitcoin is a new technology that is different from anything we have known so far. because it is decentralized and nobody controls it. because the price is volatile and that makes buying it risky. because it has a lot of enemies including but not limited to banks that attack it by spreading lots of false information that creates panic. because most people are too lazy to do some research and see what bitcoin really is and prefer to continue using the old familiar things instead.

They fear bitcoin because it is a threat to the banking system. BTW, Bitcoin is not for the feint of heart.
Yes Bitcoin become the threat for many banks. Due its innovative money transaction facility with fast processing and low transaction cost . many people using Bitcoin instead of bank and this thing putting negative effect on a bank profit. Bitcoin also threat an country economy and financial growth . Because of its decentralised nature their is no stability in its production and distribution and this thing put an bad impact on a country own currency. Bitcoin also affect an country economy by it no tax system. People associated with Bitcoin doesn't pay tax to their government because of Bitcoin digital nature.

Criminal record increases, number of people reported to have experienced on scammed projects are some reason why the government is issuing some warning notice to everyone, but they can't deny that most of the people earn from Bitcoin that's why they don't totally ban it.

The government does not accept bitcoin, because they can not take taxes from it, to influence it. This is not allowed by the very concept of bitcoin. The government is therefore strongly opposed to its adoption.
the government has taxed the transactions of each activity in legal exchanges, but it is true if they object because there are no other tax breaks from the large revenues of each active user, especially the tax on asset ownership. But that is not something that should be questioned because it is their duty to organize it all. We can only wait for the right regulation and keep looking for profit on a regular basis, as long as there is no full restriction, we are entitled to own and trade in the crypto market.

Man kind is known to fear what they don't know , and bitcoin is still very shady to many people across the world and thus is classified as a threat to them . There's people in some countries who doesn't even have access to the basic traditional banking systems and in order to send money to a relative they still gotta get on a bus and go personally to another town to deliver that money , i don't think they'll welcome the idea of money created from electricity right ? And of course bitcoin represented a threat to many parties , especially governments who couldn't put hand on it due to it's decentralization aspect , making highly positioned people across the world fearing it since it's accessible for everyone (including terrorists and criminals ) and thus they declared this invention as illegal and are gathering efforts to ban it from lots of countries .

There are some criminals who use BTC for their illegal activities. Moreover bitcoin is becoming a threat to many banks, considering the fact that some people now use bitcoin instead of banks

In my opinion government is afraid of bitcoin coz it may affect the economy of a nation. Some also thinks that its only a ponzi scheme that might affect life of a person financial and also a loss of investment.Thats why some countries banned bitcoin and some given restrictions to avoid bitcoin.

I hope do not make the fear to be a thing that will harm because until now many consider bitcoin as a threat but not .... no ... !!!!! it's just that they do not recognize bitcoin better because I'm sure those who forbid and block will receive back bitcoin at a time, because bitcoin is the future economic progress.

Government is the cause that some people fear or scared about bitcoin. They spread some news that bitcoin is not really good for the people and it is a scam. So the people who see the news do not enter the world of bitcoin.

I am not scared in Bitcoin, well if you are a true believer of Bitcoin, you will be fearless; you will be patient when the price decreases, you will not doubt its potential.

why should we be afraid of bitcoin. whereas the bitcoin digital world is already helping and providing jobs to unemployed people. and provide opportunities for the poor to become millionaires .I even think why people find it hard to acknowledge and accept the work of others. do not accept bitcoin For fear reason. but instead creates its own crypto to rival the bitcon.

As we all know that governments of every country will surely protect their citizens from all sorts of harm as well as the threat of bitcoin. Perhaps the government's intent is that they fear if citizens are too cool with bitcoin but do not think about the high risks of bitcoin. Like for example that bitcoin prices are very volatile and sometimes fall, so i think thats the reason also why the government is afraid of bitcoin and not encouraging their citizens to invest of It.

They are keen to keep people away so they can maintain the corrupt status quo that they have ongoing. If it wasn't enough to hurt your own population, now when they have an out you try take that away.

Because they think it's a ponzi scheme, or that it might affect their country's economic development, many countries have banned bitcoin trading, but it's a silly idea.
They are maybe they think bitcoin is maybe illegal, or they are afraid because they think that they might harm them here, they are thinking of negative things so they're afraid.

Why are some governments so keen to prove that bitcoin is dangerous. Recently, the Indian government sent notifications to the citizens that they should not invest in bitcoin.
every government has own currency, they want their currency exist and the bitcoin is secure. the government fears the bitcoin can be used to illegal activities.

For me because they think bitcoin is a scam, the idea that always comes up to their mind is the money they will invest in bitcoin will be wasted and gone, they do not believe and trust the bitcoin because they have no idea what bitcoin is really is. Because they have no idea that bitcoin helps many people around the world and also they think it is threat to their citizen and don't trust bitcoin.

The fact that cryptocurrency can not be controlled, as it is decentralized. And the state is afraid of this, because it is used to keep everything under control, especially money.
It is normal to have a fear in bitcoin; especially that there's money involved. People are scared because they are afraid of scammers, others are afraid of hackers since Bitcoin is a online currency.

I think we cant help our self to fell that fear because we are in the win or lose status of gaining. If we can gain here in bitcoin we maybe lose. I think it is normal for us to fear on bitcoin, but we have to overcome our fear to make a profit, if we are a prisoner of our fear we cannot change our life status because we don't try any other ways because of our fear.
