Because they have a little bit knowledge about bitcoin... And probably because instead of bitcoin helping their country it also affects them... We cant predict what is in their minds maybe bitcoin has a negative impact in their country... We cant change it because it is how they perceive bitcoin... We must accept it because it their choice but soon they will understand bitcoin and they will accept it soon...

Why are some governments so keen to prove that bitcoin is dangerous. Recently, the Indian government sent notifications to the citizens that they should not invest in bitcoin.
One thing I see is that bitcoin can be used by criminals for unlawful activities. Bitcoin's decentralize function would give governments difficulties tracking down transactions which could also be used as evidence. Most countries want to keep track of every transactions within the country, according to them this is for safety and security of their citizens. |

In my opinion, Actually there are many governments who want to get commission from the dollars. But Bitcoin does not give it.Bitcoin runs at its own pace,The government can not control Bitcoin.their are known about them bitcoin, their are no knowledge about bitcoin.

It is because Government has no control over Bitcoin.. If they don't get any profit from it, they will try to shut it down.. Especially in India, the Govt. will be against anything that is less profitable...

Because they think it's a ponzi scheme, or that it might affect their country's economic development, many countries have banned bitcoin trading, but it's a silly idea.
You're right bro to all of this. But without right understanding to bitcoin it stops the possibility that btc can do for any help that it can give |

They are afraid of Bitcoin because it is not fully controlled as the currencies in the world today. Bitcoin needs to be tightly controlled but there are easy ways for people to trade and trade

Obviously, its the lack of understanding and its possible that some governments may think that cryptocurrency is some sort of a fraud scheme,untraceable and transaction may seems suspicious and can be use for illegal activities such as buying black market items. Guns,drugs etc. And also they might think that bitcoin may pose threats to banking systems and they had problems on how to control bitcoin, issues on how to regulate it and taxation. |

The Indian government thinks Bitcoin is harming the economy of their country and their people are encouraging them to invest in Bitcoin. But this is not right. Bitcoin can be seen to see how much has been increased since the past. If Bitcoin's price increases, the people of India will again come back to Bitcoin.

For me the reason for this fear of Bitcoin is because, there's money involved. But its normal for us to fear on bitcoin, but we have to overcome our fear to make a profit. With this,the government might fear that people will no longer patronize their own currency and start to evade taxes since bitcoin is tax-free

In my point of view, I think that most of governments foremost don’t have knowledge about cryptocurrency. Besides, probably they don’t get any benefit when most people are getting into cryptocurrency with no tax. What more, we all know that bitcoin is decentralized and also notoriously anonymous, it’s more likely to get scam.Recently, the rumour of banning bitcoin is in many countries. But I believe that no matter what they do, they will never prevent anyone from using bitcoin. |

There are people who really wants to have or join bitcoin but they are scared because there are people who uses as scam. They should search and read about what is bitcoin.

The government simply does not want its citizens to be fooled by the ICO scam project, therefore the government only advises its citizens not to invest in bitcoins and does not prohibit to use bitcon. With so many people who have been tricked into investing in an ICO scam project, it has a very bad impact on cryptocurrency. |

many factors or things related to bitcoin, I think this includes one political factor. maybe this could be one of the tricks to weaken the bitcoin there and there is another purpose behind all this.

Some government think bitcoin is scheme or illegal, because bitcoin is decentralized and they don't have power to control it. The government fear that people will no longer patronize their own currency and start to evade taxes since bitcoin is tax free. That's why some country banned it.

The government of India wants to tell the people on their place to remind that investing into bitcoin or to the others altcoin is too risky. They can’t solve the problems regarding on this matter. We know the bitcoin can be a tool for a different kind of illegal transaction. That why government fears on the bitcoin they want to manipulate it.

I think the reason why is as if, some people in some countries are afraid in investing in Bitcoin is because they see Bitcoin as online currency that can crash and stop being useful at any given time. However, in the case of government of a country warning their citizen to stay away from Bitcoin, that is because they think is scam and it can affect their local banking activities

Sometimes they have the grudge to invest here in bitcoin it is because, bitcoin is a money to invest only in online grounds. They have a fear that bitcoin will be hacked anytime. But I suggest that you should read more here in this forum and get educated.

Fear of doing bitcoin. Those people who are feeling like that is those who are not yet knowledgeable with the use of bitcoin .In some case it may lead to fear if some of them used bitcoin for criminal act. More people will become affected about this. |
