I have never heard of them, but someone else may know about them. Did you find them on an Asian website?
Yes the person I'm dealing with is out of China, A little more research told me that they come out of the same factory as Powercolor; Dataland is just the branding in Asia. That at least let me know roughly what they were talking about. I've been turning over rocks all over the globe looking for cards; mostly finding slugs and scammers but this guy has been great so far. I'll let people know how the deal ends. They accepted Paypal so I felt safe enough to go forward with the purchase.

Am I the only one who's next payout at nicehash will be after I reach 0.1 BTC? I should mention I'm mining in their wallet. This is weird because until today they paid daily. Now it's Next payout 2018-03-05 13:24 Payout amount 0.10203791 BTC
Later edit: Now it shows it will pay tomorrow. Maybe there's something wrong with their site...

Quick question here has anyone used Dataland branded GPU's.
I have the chance to get some 580's but being new to GPU's and haven't found much in the way of reviews.
Thanks
Never heard of the brand. I'd be VERY cautious about them, perhaps buy ONE at first to check out workmanship and design quality.

Even more interesting, I have received two withdrawal emails that total far more than my balance, unless they are accessing my pre-December hack balance.
This should be an interesting conversation if Nicehash answers
It turns out I did NOT get hacked. While the problem is weird, at least its not causing monetary issues. if i fail my 3 logon attempts (try the wrong password 3 times in a row), I get an email from Nicehash stating that the attempt failed. That is good. A few min. later I then get an email that states a withdrawal request has been processed. The amount in the email matches, randomly, one of the actual withdrawals that i have done in the last few weeks. Communications with Nicehash have not led anywhere. they don't seem to understand what I am trying to convey. Those emails led me to believe that someone was in my account. This is repeatable. Anyone else care to try to fail their logon to see if you get the bogus withdrawal email? It does not hurt, just have to reload the page, then logon with the right password. It will take a couple of hours to get the logon failed email. Some notes: - Password reset request emails take about 10 hours from sending the request to receiving the email (2 tries) - I did get my first 10% hacked account payout late Friday night into my current working wallet

No, the PCI-E connectors WILL NOT handle 1000 watts or even close- you're overstressing them at 300 even if they are using 3 pins for +12VDC. The KNC Neptune and to a lesser degree the Titan were NOTORIOUS for burning connectors a lot because they were trying to push 350 watts (ballpark) through them when overclocked. You might get away with it for a while, but a lot of folks have BURNED connectors by pushing them too hard. While the pins have a "free air" rating of 13 amps, they derate to 8 amps in the connector because the connector retains a lot of heat.
That's strange.. this was with +150 core clock and the nVidia 388 driver. However with hashrate I prefer to err on the side of caution. No, and I would never send 1000w through those adapters. But 300w does not even render the plastic connectors warm to the touch. If they're not even warm.. they're not failing any time soon. I can break out my infrared thermometer and start taking readings for y'all! If they're running cool, you're not pulling 300 watts through them. DO keep in mind that part of the power for a card comes through the PCI-E bus - up to 75 watts per the spec, sometimes higher when the card doesn't properly observe the spec (but that's usually on overclocked cards running at more than their factory-stock TDP).

Someone might be having the issue I'm having in my garage, so here it goes:
After I've added couple more rigs to my small garage setup (now 14 1080 ti total), my garage door opener stopped working from outside. Cue in pissed wife.
Did anyone tackle an issue like that? RF interference seem to block the remote signal from outside, extending the antenna to outside did not help (it probably hurt as I did not care for the wavelength of the remote signal vs added antenna cable length)
Any solutions?
psu's may be issue not gpu rigs. get an fm radio and try to find a channel that gets interfered with whne you turn on a psu. rosewill tokamak does it. if you find out a certain psu is doing it build a faraday cage around the psu. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cagehttps://www.target.com/p/small-milk-crate-wire-basket-antique-pewter-with-copper-colored-handles-threshold-153/-/A-16251826?lnk=rec|adaptpdpexsrch|related_prods_vv|adaptpdpexsrch|16251826|0 this may work it is hit or miss Hmm, I have three of those PSUs 1500W Tokamak. Now to think of it, the computer case is supposed to filter some of that noise. But in my case the PSUs are placed on a wire rack. Would there be any benefit running a wire to from the PSU to ground I wonder. Computer cases act as a faraday cage - if the machines are in standard cases, they should NOT be the issue. Might be voltage sag caused by so many rigs in the garage though. Does the opener have it's own dedicated circuit or does it share a circuit with something else? Then there is the obvious thing - did you check the batteries in the REMOTE?

Then there is the obvious thing - did you check the batteries in the REMOTE? the rosewill tokamak give off a ton of rf he could simply turn them off to see what happens. Faraday cages are not hard to design if it is only those 3 psu's Also measure the cable for the antenna and go exactly 2x or 4x or 8x the length of it.

Yeah those are onda mobos plus cases that are on alibaba. Really nice cases with overkill 3700rpm fans. Keeps my 1070ti minis at 60 degrees.
That shirt will be drying very very quickly, that's for sure! How much are you paying in rent for this type of room, if you don't mind sharing? How many rigs will you stack in there? 54 rigs will be stacked there, 432 cards. 88x 1050ti are coming which takes up 11 rig space. The remaining space can be filled with 150-180W tdp gpu rigs like 1070tis. Rent is $250 USD a month. The fans are so powerful that the clothing rack will topple over! I wish the rig cases have the option of fans between 2000-3000rpm. i'm curious though how do you deal with noise and attention, with the spate of break ins do you employ some sort of noise dampening or reduction to bring down the overall noise and attention from the fans ?

give it a few more weeks, I warned all those fools paying tripple retail price it was a bad idea few people listened. The longer this blood bath lasts the worse it gets for idiots who paid $900 for a 1070 and $700 for 580s 🤦🏿♂️

I sort of feel bad for them, but mostly for their families in the cases of people maxing out credit cards or taking loans thinking they could get rich quick without taking a peak at how history repeats itself over and over.

I still kick myself for not clearing the shelf of 3g evga sc 1060's last year..... so much profit could have been made..... mining, and otherwise.
What gets me is the people that mortgaged their homes, took out huge loans, etc... to buy on the rise. Such bad practice all the way around: Investing what you can't afford to loose, buying on a rise, not a dip, etc etc etc....

Already we can see a lot of new card offers on ALIBABA for prices around RRP, available for shipment in quantities.

The noise cannot be heard outside the unit, it's 70 decibels inside but well contained. For safety there's 3 layer of protection, gate to enter the building, door to enter the unit, an extra metal gate with CCTV behind. Worst case I make a 20 min drive to the farm. It's also in a safe place with traffic.

Very nice. I sold the autominer.at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a5zXdRMxxcI was given a discount for the review and passed some of the discount to the buyer. So he got it for 5500 usd https://www.autominer.at/generation3the 1060 model was 4600 euros or 5667 usd plus shipping. I made a few bucks. I am readying the garage for titan xp and titan volta of course I have to get them first.
