I agree with you. BTCP is still too hot as of now. Even big traders will not want to touch it since there are lots of assumption that when this coin go high enough, coins will be dump tremendously. For the supporters of BTCP, better to hide your coins for 2-6 months and lets wait when the smoke is clear enough for the project to push through.

Yes, the btcp developers are producing phenomenal upgrades to the network, some very smart people involved in the coding to upgrade snarks the way it is. Glad to be a long term holder )

So according to your statement i guess if the individuals that are responsible for bitconnect decides to create another coin with a different algo, then it would be unfair to compare the probability of the coin been a scam since its a different algo. As for the post from the main shiller claiming that each project is unique, if you notice he has yet to provide a valid reason why he shills the project, even when he is asked questions about the numerous innovation to BTCP that he quipped about, he comfortably ignored those question. However, a project is as good as it's creator and when the creator of BTCP has pumped and dumped two coins in the past sixmonths and also seem to have lost interest in BTCP. Left to the shiller, he will claim that its all fud.

 However, he made one solid post, which is to RESEARCH THE TRUTH BEFORE INVESTING IN THIS PROJECT. LIKE I HAVE MENTIONED SEVERAL TIME LOOK UP WHALECOIN AND ZCLASSIC TO VIEW EARLIER ATTEMPT BY RHETT AND THE WOES HE LEFT IN THOSE COMMUNITY.

They rely on you being to lazy to research their droppings other than to scan the board for others opinions. Tossing out Rhett was a smart move.  I'm surprised they did it.  But to be honest, I'm impressed.

Next step is to toss Jake/CryptoJake/Jacob Brutman/Jake the snake/  on his butt.

If they get rid of both those liabilities, this coin could have a future.  They need to get rid of them, and then make sure the whole crypto community knows that they have bee removed from the project.  Once this happens, investors will return and exchanges will consider working with BTCP.

Yeah, they have basically stated that he was removed from the github.  Which doesn't matter much since he never contributed anyways.  He still seems to be a moderator on their social media. As far as going forward, Rhett doesn't matter too much.  He's already done his pump and dump, removed his lines of code, and has been quiet.

Jake on the other hand, is always actively pissing off exchanges, investors, and others and making the coin look like it's ran by children.  They really need to completely get rid of both of these liabilities to be taken seriously by exchanges and investors.  If they had someone with experience in the crypto business with good connections, that knew how to build bridges and make deals, this coin could do very well.  Jake will just continue being Jake and driving opportunity away with his arrogant and controlling way of doing things.  This is much worse than Rhett sitting quietly on the sidelines enjoying his pump and dump money.

Yeah but the way you describe it it also seems that a lot of harm has already been done and it's always difficult reverse the public perception.

Look at ZCash if you want more information. ZClassic was a fork of ZCash and Bitcoin Private is a fork of ZClassic. Monero is more popular. I don't really know which technology is better. If you follow the mass, it is Monero.
