I can't get my USB block erupter to work using cgminer with this coin. I am able to mine BTC and PPC just fine with it though. Can someone post the .bat file they are using? Do I need to also set up a conf file?
Mined the same as BTC. Maybe the pool info isn't correct.

If you want to solo-mine, see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=267545.msg3041510#msg3041510

Github source updated with a new checkpoint at block 103010.

This strengthens the security of the block-chain by essentially locking all transactions up to block 103010.

Good deal. Compiling. Converting to dedicated addnode afterward.
EDIT: And done syncing. addnode in sig. :p

Do Window binaries need updating?

Windows binaries are still on the previous checkpoint. They'll be updated in due time.

I did a "git pull" from my clone directory.

How do I update the binary?

Is there any reason the us server has a diff of 4 and the eu server a diff of 16? Seems a bit odd to me to use 2 different difficulties.

I also have to add that I am not a big fan of the new layout of the eu server. The old one looked allot cleaner and was easier to read.

is anyone still solo mining ZET? what kind of speeds/success are you getting if you are?

I started solomining today 12:00 CET and found 6 blocks in 9 hours  Smiley not bad I guess

what is your hash power?

8 usb block erupters @~300MHs each

What miner are you using? I would love to solo mine with Cgminer and my usb block erupter but I don't know how to set it up.

See my post at the bottom of page 35.

However, I'm mining with 60BEs. If you mine with 1, you'd be better off with a pool.

1. Download and install zetacoin-qt
2. Setup your custom zetacoin.conf file
3. aim your miner at the IP address of the computer running QT (127.0.0.1 if it is the same computer)

* I had a much easier time with bfgminer than with cgminer
-------------------------------
more detailed:

start here:  http://www.newslobster.com/random/how-to-get-started-using-your-gpu-to-mine-for-bitcoins-on-windows

but the .conf file needs to look more like this:

Code:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=YOURUSERNAME (can be whatever you want)
rpcpassword=YOURPASS (can be whatever you want)
rpcport=17334
rcpallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.*.*

maxconnections=80
addnode=188.252.16.110
addnode=54.212.51.236
addnode=75.162.220.45
addnode=105.236.111.72

then use your miner, using the name/pass you set in the conf file

bfgminer -o 127.0.0.7:17334 -u USERNAME -p PASSWORD

Right now I automated the process of detecting the most profitable 256 coin and automatically converting it to BTC on the exchange as soon as it's mined. ZET has been popping in out of the lead for some time now. Looking at the ZET price chart I dont want to hang on to it for long, as it is falling. But, Im starting to wonder. im I going to loose out in the long run when the block halfs. Would I be better to just stockpile ZET and wait for a hight price?
