I stopped mining when I reached 33K zeta.... I was thinking that there is no point in mining any more because such balances under single people are a little ridiculous.
I mined some NBC But I'll stop for the same reason and I'll just go back to bitcoin.

If I had a way to split my hashrate I'd mine many alts at a time.

Syscoin has the best of Bitcoin and Ethereum in one place, it's merge mined with Bitcoin so it is plugged into Bitcoin's ecosystem and takes full advantage of it's POW while rewarding Bitcoin miners with Syscoin

Money is like manure, spread it around and it helps things grow, pile it in one spot and it just stinks.

I couldn't get solo mining working not sure why.  I have been able to get probably 10 different Scrypt and 3 different SHA256 coins working solo on the same computer.  Not sure what I'm doing wrong, it must be something obviously different I'm missing.

That would probably be illegal unless you were registered as a money transmitter with FinCEN like one of the established USD->BTC exchanges.

FinCEN only has jurisdiction to control US-based exchanges...I'm sure there are plenty of foreign exchanges that will eventually have Zetacoin, but I don't know of any currently...

** which brings up a point about exchanges under the FinCEN ruling...if they aren't a transfer intermediary, they just help a seller and buyer find each other, FinCEN has no jurisdiction

Perhaps what I am looking for is a service like localbitcoins.com ... but for alt-coins ?

in any case, if anyone reading these posts is interested in selling Zetacoin, I am interested.

It doesn't sound illegal to me.... You can just use your pc to mine a few coins it's not like difficulty is anywhere near bitcoin levels!

2 Days left to get your chance to win the +20k ZET pot. The drawing will happen right about the same time as the block reward halves. Enjoy!
