The best exchanges  for beginners are Binance,Bittrex,Bitfinex. Then you can use Etherdelta-the best decentlalized Etherium exchange. Also I recommend Bitmex.

I am still new and i would strongly suggest Binance as well as Kucoin!
Binance is getting strong and alot new tokens and most of them uses Binance as a huge leverage to boost their coin value and such

Its also trustable and BNB is great too!

I recommend Kucoin. This Exchange is extremely easy to use and has no lag, 24 hour volume is fine too! Kucoin's security is very good, I feel very comfortable using the floor. But the coins here are not very varied, you should use the extra exchange like Binance

Binance is one of the largest exchanges now . It is stable , fast and secure . It have rather low trading fees , but pretty high withdraw fees. Also it have a mobile app , so you can trade anywhere with you phone. I think it is a good choice to start trading here .

It sound so ridiculous but i think if you are newbie, try Cryptopia with a very small capital, and less bot than other big exchange (Bittrex, Binance). This exchange has many "trash" coin, small volume and you can practice to set an order, buy and sell, and see how a coin pumping  Grin Then you can deposit the rest of your capital to larger exchange

For beginners you do not need to start with small exchanges as well or start with shit coins.
Always start with legit coins so you can focus on legit once, also cryptopia has a big charge for withdrawal, Binance is big but it only charge small wihdrawal
fee for bitcoin transactions.

Bitstamp is the easiest to use. It has one of the best buying rates in the market for all the currencies it is involved in. It has a simple and easy to use interface and signing up is quick. There are other exchanges as well but there UI is not good or their buying rates are not at all favorable compared to bitcoin. So have look into it if you dont want much hassle.

Depending on that, it is possible to Hitbtc, Poloniex, Bittrex. But my advice to Bittrex is trading, It's easier to trade here and your Bitcoins are safe.
At Hitbtc there is a minimum deposit requirement, and minimum withdrawal is prohibited for retail sales so it's really hard and messy.

All the exchanges that are available now are good for any phase, either you are beginner or a pro. Just avoid new exchanges because the market cap are not good enough to learn.

The first exchanger that I used was etherdelta and fordelta. As a firstimer to Transact, I find it so easy to use. You juat have to link your MEW account and you can now start trading. However, I think using decentralized exchanger as a higher risk to be hack.

Id like to suggest KuCoin, Binance for beginner since there are not so strict with verification as well they have many tokens to trade with. Also the withdrawal fee is not that high.

I like Bittrex myself... been using it for years.

Although I greatly prefer the previous UI over the new 'improved' one.

there are so many good exchanges, like binance, kucoin, and okex, and I've always been trading there, there's never a problem and the security level of exchange is 100% reliable, and more importantly it's very easy to use

The importance of chosing a good exchange is always related to the type of coins that the exchange trade because not all the exchange trade the same coins...
Recently I discovered kucoin, it have a lot of new tokens and it is very easy to use.

Kucoin is a great exchange but bigger exchange like Binance as a lot more coins than Kucoin.
As of this writing, Binance has 305 pairs https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance/ while Kucoin has only 296 https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/kucoin/.

I really enjoyed HITBTC's demo program they have, I would use that for a few weeks to get a hang then go over to other exchanges that such as Bittrex or Polionex because they are safer and have better support. I have lost coins in the past with Hitbtc and did not like how they responded to me so I vote to stay away from that one even though it has a attractive interface.
HITBTC is a rip off! I mean they take away fixed amount of tokens at the time of withdrawal. I just had to pay 170 MSP tokens to make my withdrawal to my private wallet. Also all the trading is so shady over there, looks like its bots working most of the time.

Hitbtc also has a high fees compare to other trading site like binance . Transaction is also not fast and most of the time ERC20 tokens are not available to wthdraw or deposit .

If in my opinion, the Exchange platform is made without consideration for beginners. So there is no such exchange. And my first exchange is Poloniex, nice exchange for Imo beginners, neat interface, altcoin lot, large volume

I would say binance. The design infrastructure is very simple. Its easy to use for beginners. And the site its very good,  coded by devs who understand their business. It runs always smoothly and has no lags like other exchanges i use. You can edit the charts anyhow you want

Etherdelta and forkdelta gave me a very bad feeling. I can't tolerate huge delays and it's not very smooth, but many tokens can only be traded on etherdelta.
